Goblins are of two types: Hobgoblins and the common goblins. The two of them has distinct features that makes them apart. Common goblins are green and of small statures.
Females are taller than males, average height being 4'5 while males average heights are 4'3. Female goblins are called goblettes and they are rarer than males with a birthrate of a goblettes to twenty goblins. They have different hair colour, the most common being black and green. Goblettes rarely get fat but after giving birth they do become plump. Goblettes have usually curvy bodies and wide hips and larger derriere. The phenomenon maybe due to the demand of repopulation.
Males are simply called goblins. They are stockier and more robust built than females.
Their distinct features are their bald head. Male goblins in their entire lifetime never grow a piece of hair on their body. Compared to their stature, male goblins have large genitalia. The phenomenon may be due to them having intercourse with females of larger species.
Goblins have four toes on their feet and three fingers and a thumb on their hands.
Goblins have long claw like nails, mostly for digging. The soles of goblins are hardy and does not need out easily. Most goblins have batlike ears and larger head.
They also have round and big eyes. Their pupils are distinct from many other races. They either have dark or green eyes. Goblin can see in the dark as well. Another feature of the goblin is their nose, they are quite long or large depending on the individual. They have a good sense of smell and have great olfatoric memories.
The life expectancy of a goblin is same as human but gestation is thrice shorter. Growing phase is also similar to human. An interesting note about goblin growth phase is that, sometimes during times of war or depopulation goblin's children(whelps) grew up faster, reaching adulthood in only five years. The phenomenon cannot be explained but some scholars suggest it may be a hormonal reaction to survive.
Goblin societies are based on tribes or clans and their societies are not as depraved or lawless as other species think. Yes, goblins are less intelligent but it does not mean they are Savages. Goblin societies are either Matriarchal or Patriarchal. In a Patriarchal, the ruler is often a warrior, who had many victories. In a Matriarchal, the ruler is often a Shaman as goblettes are more inclined towards magic than goblins.
Succession does not pass from father to son or mother to daughter. Every goblin and goblettes have a right to the throne. Hence, when a ruler dies, there issues infighting if there are more than two candidates or capable person. In a matriachy, the candidate is often selected by the former queen and named before her death. But her daughters, if incapable will never assume the throne or will never be allowed.
Goblins doesn't usually form families due to the low number of females but pairs of goblins who form such institution do exist. In such case, either the goblin or the goblettes have a particular reputation or had done some great deed for their society.
The queen or king usually have a harem. A queen harem can be quite large with more than twenty or so but a king cannot have more than five goblettes or there will be a shortage of goblettes. Consorts are not allowed to mate with others except with their rulers.
Shortages of goblettes are the reason why goblins resort to raid and capture females of other races. Goblins, both male and female have quite a high libido. Inbreeding chance are one out of thirty in average.
Due to shortage of goblettes, male goblins are also said to partake in homosexuality but it is rare. A mated pair of males are often allowed to live in their society but are not allowed to partake in raids.
In average, males are the working and fighting force. Soldiers are called Wardogs.
Goblettes are meant to give birth continuously when they come of age. Having intercourses before adulthood often results in death, mostly males are killed. Goblettes are only made to mate with the stronger males. Whelps are weaned in a common nursery. There is no distinction between parent and children.
Goblins are omnivores and will feed on anything that is eatables. They don't have cultivation but are known to raised some creatures for food.
Goblins usually don't get along with other races but they had been several individuals who had mingle with other races. Most are females who had escaped from their rigid society.
A goblin settlement is either call a Warren or village depending on their location.
Warrens are underground and villages are above ground. Goblins are great diggers but not good builders. Most goblin settlement are made underground. A goblin Warren is well ventilated and have several tunnels, laid with traps and numerous escape exits.
Goblins use different kinds of mounts.
Worgs are the most common. These creatures are larger than hounds but smaller than wolves. They are more intelligent than their counterparts, wolves and dogs. They shared the same ancestry with Wargs but are not of the same species.
Goblin have high immunity to diseases and fast healing ability. Their gonads have medicinal purposes.
Goblins have no organized religions other than animalistic worship. Some goblin society do worship some deities especially Gur-Morsdom, the God of death.
The most common haunts of Common goblins in Ostalis is the Necross wilderness, the forest of Torath and the Azadum desert.
Hobgoblins on the other hand are taller, average height being 5 feet for males and 5'7 for females. They are red or brown in colour and have budding horns. Their sex index is also the same as human. They have higher libido than humans but lower than goblins.
They are also very rare in comparison to their cousins, the common goblins. They live in seclusion and have high affinity to magic. Their society is not that well known.
Both species belong to the Daemonic family or false demon which include Orc, Ogre, Oni and trolls as well. It is not known whether or not they share the same ancestry.

Orcs are huge and muscular race of humanoids. They are taller than the average human.Male orcs are around 6'3 in average while females called orcettes are around 6 feet. Both have powerful and hulking physique and with their vigorous training, their bodies are quite muscular.
Orcs are a warlike race. Both males and females partake in war. The rulers can either be male or females since orcette are equal in strength to male orcs.
Orcs have well knitted society. Families of mated pairs are common but a chief is force to have more than one mate due to low birthrate.
Orcs value valor, honour and strength.
Therfore, they have several laws passed down from generation. The most lawful are the northern orcs who follows the code of Turatan which were laid down by their first warchief.
Two of them are the Oath of Durac and the Oath of Ergesag. The oath of Durac is submission of an orc to their benefactor by becoming a slave for seven years. Meanwhile, the duel of Ergesag is a duel for supremacy. The loser will become slave to the winner for seven years. In both cases, both party must be willing to partake or the agreement will be null.
Most orcs dislike magic and don't have affinity with it. Shaman do exist but most can only use divinity magic and healing magic. There has never been an orc sorcerer.
Orcs don't have particular gods but they have a common religion, ancestor worship. Their favorite deity will be Orlog, the God of war.
Orcs are mostly nomadic and tribal within their own territory. Another tribe encroaching on a claimed territory will result in war.
Orcs are headed by tribal chiefs. In times of need, several tribes come together and form a horde headed by a Warchief.
Orcs mounts are usually Wargs as they are too heavy for horses. Wargs are larger and bulgier than horses and are considered very intelligent. Orcs usually uses saddles to ride on them. A warg will allow only one rider to ride them for the rest of their lives. If their master dies, they are set free or taken care of by their master family. A warg will never let another orc or race ride them, unless commanded by their master.
