Chapter 2

The whole night Danzo couldn't help but feel that something bad was going to happen. He was restless and kept on tossing and turning and the weather itself had become restless.

It was raining cats and dogs and the thunder and lightning seemed violent that he was getting scared. Who wouldn't, although he acted mature for his eight years of age he was still a child. He quickly ran to his mother's room and found his other siblings already there.

"I was wondering when you were going to come Luciano." Lucinda his mother said looking at him playing with his fingers.

"Come and sleep here"

He immediately got on the bed with the rest of his siblings.

"Mom am scared." Luciano said to his mother because he was scared and still couldn't shake that bad feeling he had.

"Its okay my babies, mommy is here and she won't let anything happen to her babies. Okay how about I tell you a story till you fall asleep"

They all agreed and she started tell them the story of the Moon Goddess Leilani. They all fell asleep including Danzo.

Lucinda left to go look for Lucien her husband. She found him in his study.

"Even the Alpha too deserves some rest Lucien." She said going to sit on his lap.

"What are you doing here so late at night?"

"At least you know that it's late at night Lucien. You should come and rest too and all the kids are already in our bed too including Luciano.."

"Luciano too?" He asked shocked because Luciano always acted brave and was never scared of anything.

"Yes they were scared because of this storm. Even I am too."

"I can't help but feel like something bad is going to happen or it has happened." Lucien said really worried as he could feel it. They continued talking for a while until they heard a scream coming from their rooms.

"The kids" they both said at the same time and ran to their room to find Luciano who was screaming while tossing and turning and his other siblings had also gotten off the bed.

"Mommy" said little Ingido running to her mother.

"What's wrong with Luciano? Mommy he's scaring me." Indigo continued to say.

Luciano continued screaming and they tried to wake him up but he didn't wake up. Lorenzo and Tyler his younger siblings were also getting scared.

"Lucy get the kids out of here" Lucien said on noticing how traumatising this was becoming to the kids. Lucinda left with the kids and Lucien mind linked his father and he came within a few seconds.

"What's wrong with him Lucien?"

"I don't know father, he's not waking up"

Alexander tried waking him up to but instead Luciano scratched him with his claws and started growling.

"Impossible!.." Alexander said with shock written on his face.

"What are ..." Before he could finish he saw that his son was turning.

"How is this possible father?"

"I am as shocked as you are."

Luciano continued screaming in pain and Lucien looked at his first born son going through such transformation at this age. He was supposed to turn at sixteen not at eight. He was in pain and as a father he felt his son's pain.

"What should we do to help him with the transformation father?" He asked feeling defeated.

"There's nothing we can do."

"There has to be something." he said snapping at his father. Alexander just looked at him thinking that it wasn't the time to fight now.

"Let's call Raizana, she might be of some use."

"Yes, that's a good idea." Lucien sighed as he took the phone to call Raizana.

Raizana was a well know witch in their world because of her bloodline. After trying to call her multiple times the call finally got through and Raizana agreed to come to their aid.

Luciano had now fully turned and was growling at his father and grandfather as he saw them as threats. Lucien tried using his Alpha command on him but it didn't work but instead it got Luciano more worked up and angry.

They distracted Luciano and left him alone in the room and locked it. They safe guarded the room themselves while waiting for Raizana who was surely taking her time. Lucien was pacing around while Alexander was sitted.

"What's taking her so long?" Lucien said getting frustrated.

"It's not like she has to drive to come here" He continued while pacing.

Luciano kept on clawing at the door trying to open it. He was growling a lot and at the pacing he going the door was going to break soon. After a while Raizana made her entrance.

"What is this important thing that I have been called for? It seems like today I won't be getting my beauty sleep as I keep on being summoned."

"Finally her Royal Grace decided to grace us with her presence."

"You know Alexander this attitude of yours will make me regret my decision of coming here." She said getting annoyed as if she already didn't have enough things to worry about.

"Father enough, we need her her help." Lucien looked at his father and then back to Raizana.

"It's about my son..."

Before he could finish a howl erupted from the Lucien's room.

"What was that?" Raizana asked a bit startled.

"My son."

"Your son?" She asked a bit puzzled.

"Luciano turned" Alexander interrupted.

"Isn't he like 10?"

"He's eight years old."

"Then how did he change? Shouldn't he change when he's sixteen years old?" Raizana was really shocked because this was unheard of in their history.

"Even we don't know why he changed."

"Today really is an inauspicious day."she said deep in her thoughts

"Something triggered his changed, can I see him maybe if I touch him I might see something on how to help him."

"It's not safe when he's like this. He's unpredictable and the only thing he knows is to attack anyone he will see as a threat and he will attack us. Me being an Alpha will not do us any good because the aura I posses will be threatening to him."

"Then we..."

Another scream erupted from the room again which meant that he was changing back to his human form. The three of them quickly ran to the room and they found Luciano on the corner changing back.

Sounds of bones breaking were heard and his screams which sent chills down anyone's spine. Raizana looked away, this was too much for a child especially one who wasn't trained for this. Raizana looked at the little boy across the room and she saw his future which should have been but not anymore.

When she was sure that Luciano was not a threat anymore she went to him to help ease the pain. She whispered a spell on his ears and the boy went quiet. When she was about to stand up his little hand held her and she felt the pain he was feeling and screamed pulling her hand away.

"What is it?" Lucien asked getting worried.

"First lay him down to rest and only then will I tell you." She said after regaining her composure.

Lucien put Luciano to bed and he slept peacefully this time around with no pain. They all went to Lucien's study room and Lucinda had joined them.

"What's wrong with my son Raizana?" Lucinda asked as she was now worried.

Raizana kept quiet and didn't even know how to start saying what she saw.

"Talk Raizana we are waiting for you, what did you see?" Alexander was getting a little impatient.

"Like I had suspected, something had triggered his turn and that is the loss of his soul mate."

"What!?"Lucinda looked at Raizana with tears.

"Yes tonight the Estanova Royal pack fell at the hands of Marco the leader of the blacken wolves so I guess his mate was one of those who lost their lives during the uprising. May the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace." She felt sad at what things had come to.

"No no, this can't happen to my Luciano." She said with tears in her eyes.

"I am sorry Lucien, Lucinda but that's what I saw. I saw his mate bond shattered in peaces."

"Okay then how did he feel it it's not like he was mated infact he hasn't even met his mate yet, how is all of this possible?" Alexander asked trying to make sense of it all.

"I think that's because of his bloodline and that he's the future Alpha also which makes his bond much more stronger than everyone's else's."

"So you are telling us that Luciano no longer has a mate?" Lucien asked feeling his son's pain. What sin did he commit that Luciano had to be punished for it. He had witnessed how many of his kind had gone insane and rogue from the pain of losing a mate.

"What will we tell him Lucien?" Lucinda snapped him out of his thoughts. She cried on his shoulder's.

"He was so looking forward to meeting his mate. All those stories I told him about the mate bond and how beautiful it is. He's not going to experience it all."

She continued crying and Lucien comforting her.

"He's going to be fine Lucinda, he will pull through you know how he is." Lucien said convincing himself more than Lucinda.

"He's going to be fine now, but I want you to take care of him because I can't see what his future holds now I only saw what should have been had his mate been alive. She truly was a beautiful girl."

Raizana left upon saying that leaving them all to their thoughts. Alexander left the Alpha and Luna alone too.

"What will we do Lucien?"

"We will tell him the truth my love and I know that our son is strong he will get through this."

"I hope so Lucien."

"We will give him all the love that we can in this world."

"Yes all of them." Lucinda said thinking about all of her children.

"I get it now."Lucien realised what the feeling he had meant

"What?"

"The restlessness I had was because of all this. Our ancestors made the right choice for us not to go with the rest of our kind."

"Yes Lucien, I can't believe that the Estanova Royal Pack has fallen. This means that all the white wolves are now dead and the black wolves are the rulers."

"I now fear what the world would become if this Marco comes to this world of ours."

"No Lucien, we will protect the humans and this has been our home for centuries now. We have to do what the White wolves always did, we will not let their death go in vain."

"Yes you are right my love." Lucien said totally agreeing with his wife.
