Chapter 84: Protect the Book (6)

[A few days passed. I was caught up reading all of the books around. Absorbing all the knowledge I can.

"Let us go" Claive said.

"Okay."

We took the stairs once more and climbed for a long time. Finally, after what feels ike an entire hour, we finally stopped.

"Here we go, floor 25. We need to take a ride, then we will get there." he said as he pointed to the door.

We came out of the office and a huge bird that looked like a falcon awaited us.

"Let us go." he said as he rode the bird and signaled me to ride as well.

Dark memories of the night 5 years ago crept back into my mind. The scene of my parents burning to death vividly appeared in my mind. 'It will be fine.' as I comforted myself.

After I rode on it, we proceeded to fly. I saw a beautiful scenery below me; countless houses were there and even a number of towering mountains. Flocks of different birds also flew near enough for me to see.
