Ughhhh! It's Too Hot...

Silver, Tora and Divine had just entered the Blue Mana Inn. They were all level 15, and were allowed entry to the capital. Silver suggested everyone take an hour or so break before they begin their journey towards the Capital. The Journey itself would take approximately three days of in game time. The three of them will have to take watch in shifts, and time their log-outs in order to make the most of the daylight hours.

.....

Lauren removed the Neuro-Link from her head and pulled her phone out. Lauren learned that she could connect her phone to intercept all private messages while she was logged out of MRA. After connecting everything, Lauren ordered a steak. A dozen minutes passed before she recieved her order, a steak (rare of course). As she was eating, she thought to herself. 'The game is fun, but I can't just rot in here forever. It would be difficult to find 'The Banished' now, but I will have to start thinking about escaping. The Dawn haven't contacted me, so I presume I mean nothing to them. I guess I'm on my own. I should start noting habits and hatching an escape plan. I do not intend to rot in this place.' Despite everything that Lauren had been through, revenge was as fresh in her mind as the steak she was currently eating. After she ate, she laid on the couch, deciding to relax.

As she was relaxing and thinking about her escape, the phone buzzed. It was a message from Divine.

Divine: "Tora and I are logging back in now. We'll wait for you in the tavern area."

Lauren replied: "I will be on in a moment or two."

.....

Silver appeared in her room, and she found Tora and Divine chatting at a table downstairs. Silver approached and nodded at them. The three of them began leaving town, heading north.

Silver was slightly curious, and asked in a respectful tone. "Are you guys married? Or do you just live together?"

Divine burst out laughing and Tora made a disgusted face. He spoke with a sour look on his face. "Absolutely not! We are not married! Divine is my sister!" Divine laughed so hard that she began crying. With her unable to walk, they both stopped to wait for her. As she was wiping the tears from her eyes, Silver spoke calmly.

"I see, that would explain it, my apologies for assuming that." Silver chuckled a bit and said nothing more.

.....

They stepped onto the road, intending to start their three day journey. Silver offered to take the first watch every night. As a Vampire, she preferred to be awake during the night, and although the sun didn't physically hurt, it was still emotionally taxing on vampires, so sleep was beneficial. Vampires could go for quite some time without sleep. Sleep would replenish their mental weariness, whereas physical weariness would be replenished at night, regardless of whether they slept or not.

.....

Halfway through the first day, Silver began groaning. She spoke lazily."UGHHHHHH I hate the sun, why does it have to be so hot..."

Divine chuckled. "What are you, Silver? You sound like a Vampire being forced to eat garlic."

Silver spoke unhurriedly as she waved her hand. "Well, I AM a vampire, and garlic does, in fact taste like grass. The sun is annoying, and the heat is even more annoying."

Tora stopped and looked back at Silver who was now flipping the sun off. "Wait. You're actually a vampire? Like really a vampire? How did you become a vampire so quickly?"

Divine was chuckling as Silver called herself a vampire, but when Tora spoke, she froze and looked at Silver who was still flipping the sun off.

Silver muttered a couple curses at the sun and looked at Tora. She spoke lazily. "Yeah, I'm actually a Vampire. Haran's Den gave me an item that granted me the race."

Divine's eyes sparkled and she looked at Silver. She spoke excitedly. "Can you turn someone else?! How does blood taste? Does Garlic kill you? How about being invited into a home? What about wooden stakes?" She assaulted Silver with a multitude of different questions.

Silver sighed in response, and Tora just shook his head. "Yes, I can turn someone else. The taste of blood depends on the person. Your blood tastes like orange cream. Garlic just ruins the taste of blood, it does actually make it taste like grass. I can go wherever, being invited in means nothing. Wooden stakes are deadly, extremely deadly."

They talked for most of the day, chatting about various things, but mostly vampires. When they were setting up camp, and Silver was getting ready for her watch, Divine approached her.

"Silver, can you..turn me into a vampire?"

Silver turned around and said in a serious manner. "I can, but you should make sure that it's what you want. I don't know if there is a cure, and I doubt you could have any other race change afterwards. How about this... If you still want to be a vampire by the time we reach the capital, I will turn you."

Divine was determined, and she spoke definitively. "I love vampires, and anything pertaining to them." She looked away from Silver's eyes and continued speaking. "You said my blood tasted like orange cream. That blood vial wasn't for a quest, was it?"

Silver shook her head. "No, it wasn't. I needed blood because of all the fighting I had been doing. Your blood tasted so sweet." Silver licked her lips reminiscing on the first taste of human blood she had consumed in awhile.

Divine blushed madly. "I-I see." She pulled the collar of her tunic down, exposing her shoulder. She asked sheepishly. "D-Do you want more..?"

Silver was shocked out of reminiscing. She spoke warmly, as her eyes turned green. "Are you sure?"

Divine closed her eyes and nodded. She was too embarrassed to say anything.

Silver patted her on the head and whispered in her ear. "Thank you."

Silver opened her mouth wide, revealing her vampire fangs. She sunk her teeth into Divine's shoulder. Divine winced in pain. Shortly after, she visibly relaxed. Divine bit her bottom lip, stifling a moan as Silver drank her blood. After a few moments, Silver pulled back and licked her lips. She released Divine, who stood there in a daze. Silver was the first one to speak.

"Ah...That was good. It was warm and very rich." She smiled warmly at Divine, who's face was a bright shade of red. "Thank you for that, it tasted heavenly." Divine nodded and left without saying anything. She was 100% embarrassed beyond belief.

.....

When Divine entered her tent, she thought to herself. 'Ahhhh! That was so embarrassing!' She paused for a moment before she started rubbing the two small puncture wounds on her shoulder. 'That felt nice though...Like a very intimate kiss.' Divine rolled over, and went to sleep with a smile on her face.
