Chapter 36

[G0 Spinach Quest: Collect 1000 Spinach Seeds]

As Lich wondered if spinach seeds were even a thing, he noticed a glow from the spinach plant's stem. Pushing on the stem, a seed appeared.

'Wait, it was that simple? Seeing what I had to do highlighted, where was the help for the Ape Path. Then again, seeing as I was an ape, I guess it wasn't equipped to my profession tab.'

'I was looking at the leaf like a idiot for a seed, I am glad I had help from the system. If I went around asking if spinach had a seed, I feel like it would be way too embarrassing to keep working.'

With a flushed face, Lich went and continued to collect seeds.

...

The next shop Lich went to was the Gumbo Path Shop. The quest for this path was to stock Gumbo onto the shelves. However oddly enough they weren't serving sizes but just a whole pot of gumbo.

Lich deciding to empty his mind of thoughts, and speed through all of the G rank parts of the paths.

The next path Lich went to was the Swimming Path. Doing this path gave one a swimming meter. The way Lich completed this path was doing multiple laps in a ring like pool. The distance of a lap was 1km.

After this was the Food Stand Path. Like other paths that were buildings, it came in a box.

Next was the Challenge Path. It opened an area for people or groups to challenge each other. The reason this was a Path must be because the destruction caused by fights were annoying to clean up constantly.

The Boy Scout Path or simply the Scout Path, taught one how to track. The quest for this required a person to follow a track to whatever left it.

The Radio Path allowed one to talk on radios in a certain distance with each other. The quest was simply putting radios on display.

Lich seemed to have finished all of the squares in the third space. He continued onto the fourth square.

Boost Path allowed one to increase the strength of another Path. It seems more useful as a Law in a Path. Learning this path hurts the throat as you have to yell out 'Boost' each time to active it.

The next Path Lich went to work on was the Merrow. As it was a monster Lich didn't know much about, he read the book that included the information on them. It seems a Merrow was a humanoid fish. Luckily for them they were overall more human than fish. Having this Path allows one to do underwater combat without being affected negatively.

After the Merrow was the Corn Path. It required you to collect the corn kernel. However it seemed only one kernel held what was required to be counted for the quest.

The Champagne Path like the Wine Path from before only required Lich to place the bottles onto display.

Undertaker Path, which Lich was told about before, allowed one to hold funerals. The quest requirements for this was just to get bodies dressed up and ready for a funeral.

Seeing the Bathhouse Path kit made Lich a bit depressed. Since he could really go for a soak. Sadly he could only look at the picture on the box as he put them on display.

The Fill-In Path was simply a sheet of paper that would lead you to go do another persons job for them. It felt weird as even though both people get progression, one only had to put out a piece of paper for someone to work for them.

Pilot Path was just sitting in a vr pod that allowed you to simulate flying in a jet. There were giant flying rings you had to move the jet through.

Next was the Nail Path. The quest asked for you to just place a few thousand boxes of nails onto display.

Owl path required Lich to search for his prey in the snow. Once he found them, the prey vanished.

Minotaur was the next path Lich went to for the start of the fifth path. As he knew what a Minotaur was, he didn't really look through the book.

Next path was oddly labeled as Mana Potato. It seemed to just be a glow in the dark potato that increased the stats of whatever it was cooked in.

Next was LSD. It seem that like drinks that have magic in them to make them stronger, even some drugs got magic in them to enhance them. The quest required him to put the LSD on display which felt a bit weird to have something like this in the open.

The Soccer Path was just watching clips of people playing soccer, however after watching each play, Lich oddly felt like he could do the same plays and moves like the soccer players that were on the clips.

Graveyard Path was very tempting for a lich like Lich. But of course he wasn't going to be collecting any bodies for zombies soon, as the graveyards were still in the box.

The next path Lich went to was the first friend path he has ended up at. It was from his friend who liked to make piles of things. The Greed Path allowed Lich to make piles of things... The quest required Lich to make piles of gold coins, each pile was made up of one thousand coins.

Chef Path quest didn't require Lich to make any food. It was simply Lich reading books that were full of cooking recipes.

Ring Path made Lich put rings onto display. It seem the rings could store instant use spells or attacks from melee weapons. Or at least that was what Lich overheard from some of the other employee's.

The Bear Path forced Lich into ruining many picnics. Granted they were just prop picnics set up for the Path training, it still felt funny to Lich.

The next was a path Lich knew he was going to eventually run into. The Curse Path. It was simply putting cursed elemental stones onto display. The Curse Elemental Stones looked like a pebble that had googly eyes attached.

Starting with the first Path on the sixth spot on a coupon was the Mana Nut Path. They were glowing nuts that seem to lure animals and monsters. It makes them willing to die for just a taste.

After having to put thousands of glowing nuts into a collection basket, Lich went on to the Mead Path and put Mead bottles onto display.

Next was the Zookeeper Path. The Zookeeper Path allowed you to employ animals and monsters to work at your zoo. The G rank quests was just approving thousands of sheets with his signature.

The next Path was the Clinic in a box. After this was another Path from a friend, Diligence. Not remembering who gave him this, Lich did the quests. The quest was simply hitting a button that lit up.

The Plumber Path required Lich to just give others the needed pipe. He didn't end up doing any plumber work himself.

Fan Path seemed to be hand fans and not the electrical ones. Lich had to lay out the hand fans onto display fully open.

Lich found himself as a Ferret, and he was required to go down rabbit holes and capture thousands of rabbits.

Next Lich had to practice using the Entangle Path on a dummy. It summon an invisible rope that entangled the dummy.

The next Path was a monster Lich knew. A spirit, and as he was a Lich he didn't spare a glance since he should know enough about them already, and without looking he guessed the ability being a spirit grants you is possession.

The first of the seventh part of the coupons was the Protein Shake Path. The Protein Shakes helped with restoring the muscles after overusing them. For instance, protein shakes could help those who use the boost skill on a physical Path.

Next was another vr pod. But instead of a jet it was a sailing boat. The Sailing Path required Lich to go to rings just like the other vr pod training.

Hatchery was the next Path Lich worked on. Luckily it was a box set up and not Lich being needed to sit on thousands of eggs to complete.

Appearing at another friend only path, Lich started his Wrath Path Quests. Lich only needed to smash the random objects in sight. Doing this, something awoke in Lich along with a rage bar which like other bars were hidden away on a system menu.

Lich finally can feel like his name fits as he finally ended up at the Necromancer Path. He speed through this path as it required one to raise the dead. The shop owner was surprised at how Lich did it even faster than the Necromancer Champion.

The next was hard work for Lich as it was the Bath Path. He needed to place thousands of baths onto display.
