Chapter 13: Robin, The Butler

Robin, the butler, carefully opens the door and steps inside.

"The master wants to speak with you, Warren. I will be outside. Please come out when you are ready."

The master wanted to talk to me. I assumed it was going to be my punishment for my reckless behavior. Robin closed the door shortly after his command, I took a couple of seconds to prepare myself.

I left the room afterward and Robin politely asked me to follow him to the designated room. Robin never told me what room I'd be going to, but I automatically assumed it'd be the crystal room.

The master keeps an eye on every single follower he sends out on missions. He has an artifact, a giant crystal ball, that he monitors us on. This crystal ball is located in the crystal room. He knows every detail of my mission because he witnessed all of it on the crystal ball. I was nervous because I knew he'd have a million questions for me regarding the awakening and development of my powers.

The master watches his crystal ball with Robin because of his ability. Robin has super intuition. The master chose him to be the butler because he makes great decisions and conjures brilliant plans. Because of this, the master and Robin have grown quite close to one another.

I have lived in the castle for twelve years and have never seen Robin's true potential. When the master found me and gave me a home in the castle, Robin was still very young. I'm only eighteen and he's in his mid-twenties. Even though we grew up together, we never got close because he was always doing his job. He's like a robot, he's emotionless and only takes commands from the master.
