Messy

When I got home, I stopped in my tracks because I heard the laughter of a foreign woman, I was scared and I had mixed feelings now. I slowly walked in and sure enough.

The woman apparently still has the face to come here.

With all my might I ignored the two creatures who were relaxing and drinking tea in the living room, I walked past them with AirPods plugged into my ears trying to step as hard as I could so I could reach the elevator and quickly enter my room.

"Oh, my son has come home apparently." The woman said, I actually heard, but I chose not to care and continued my footsteps. I could also hear the man screaming my name, cursing at me for being so disrespectful to an old man.

Haha, old man? I smiled sadly, even that person doesn't deserve to be called an old man. I got into the elevator and quickly entered my room. I locked my room and threw myself on the bed.

I can't express my emotions and can only take a deep breath, I closed

The eyes imagine that if only Mama was still alive and now she must be with me at the dinner table and having dinner together if only I had come earlier that time so that I could not lose someone precious to me.

Now I can only fight for myself and Sis Hansel, only the rest of Sis Hansel understands me and doesn't demand anything from me. I got up and looked at the picture of the three of us; me, sis Hansel, and mama. My smile is etched remembering how we lived happily before.

You know, the highest level of hate is when you hate that person for no reason and I'm at that level now. I hate my papa so much that I forget why I hate him. Although sometimes the shadows of the past faintly swirl I try to block them so that I can still survive until now.

'Useless child'

'You rebellious child,

'Why do you understand me?'

'You are a little bitch'

The words kept ringing in my ears, I closed my ears tightly trying to get the sound out of my ears. I can't stand it, this is really torturing me suddenly I screamed hoping the voice would lose to my screaming voice. I lost control and ended up throwing my nightlight into the glass cupboard causing a commotion causing Hansel to forcefully break down my door.

I turned to Hansel shakily while still covering my ears because the whispers were still heard clearly. Hansel immediately ran to me and carried me out of the room, the last thing I noticed was that I was short of breath and my legs were torn because I accidentally stepped on a shard of glass before Hansel carried me.

Hansel ran without responding to Oliver and the girl's questions, I could faintly hear papa asking what happened to me. Quickly, Hansel took me to a small clinic near my house and the nurses immediately came to me but they lost so fast that I finally lost my consciousness.

****

There was only this two left at home, they were both enjoying their dinner while waiting for news from their eldest son to come home.

"What happened to Elainne?" Oliver muttered as he cut the steak that was right in front of him. Abigail just shuddered as if not interested in the topic Oliver was talking about right now.

"Children of Elainne's age often seek the attention of their parents. Just let them be, they'll be fine on their own." Abigail answered nonchalantly as she continued to enjoy the pieces of medium-well meat that she was part of.

The squeak of the door opening drew their attention to the source of the sound. Hansel was standing there breathlessly, it could be seen from the look in his eyes that he was angry now.

With heavy steps, he walked closer to the two humans who were enjoying their dinner without thinking that one person almost died because of their actions.

"Oliver Liu you really have no manners at all. Respectfully please both of you to get out of this house." Hansel asked, he desperately held back his emotions because these two people were considered to have no common sense and conscience.

But unlucky, Oliver and Abigail did not respond and made Hansel's anger even more intense. His gaze was fixed on the golf club holder, he quickly took a stick and hit it on the glass table that the two of them were eating dinner on.

Abigail was shocked to death. Hansel was furious and this was the first time the woman had witnessed Hansel's anger directly. Unlike Abigail, Oliver was also emotional, the man immediately lifted Hansel's collar and almost hit his son's jaw.

"Just hit it, just kill it all. KILL!!!!" Hansel shouted. Oliver was silent and gave up his intention, he slowly released the handle of Hansel's collar and pushed his son slowly.

Oliver had no other choice but to take Abigail away from the place, leaving behind the mess that Hansel had caused. The glass was shattered everywhere, the steak that was once beautiful was now just trash that fell on the floor along with the pathetic shards of glass on the floor.

Hansel caught his breath and threw himself onto the nearest sofa after confirming that the two of them were out of the house. He was angry not because of the woman's arrival, but even more so Oliver's attitude that did not show a papa.

The man knew why Elainne suddenly became like that and finally broke her nightlight and Oliver was apathetic and didn't care about his own daughter's life. Hansel seemed to know what Elainne was feeling and made his favorite girl end up like that.

Silently, the man cried and covered his eyes with his arm. He didn't know what else to do to save his sister, to bring things back to normal. He wanted and really missed seeing his sister laugh, he wanted to hear the chatter of his chatty sister, he wanted his little sister who used to be active but now turned passive.

There wasn't the old Elainne, there wasn't the bubbly Elainne, there wasn't the little sister Elainne who was so spoiled by her. Elainne turned a hundred and eighty degrees after that incident and her little girl shut herself up because she didn't want anyone else to hurt her again.

Hansel as an older brother feels that he has failed in taking care of his only sister. He felt unsuccessful and unable to be a good brother to his sister.

"What should I do?"

It crossed her mind to give up all the work of her company and buy her father's company so that the man would no longer interfere in her affairs and that way they could be calm and peaceful without any further disturbances.

Getting rid of Abigail was easy for him, but he didn't bother to get his hands dirty with Abigail's dirty blood. Seems like breaking up legally is the best way at this point.
