Killing Spree

The duo was busy cleaning up the beasts. Half an hour had already passed but they killed almost sixty percent of the beasts on the shore. The piles of beast corpses were scattered all around the shore.

After seeing their own being annihilated, some beasts tried to run away, but Daisy didn't want to let them go. She shot continuously towards the fleeing beasts. Due to the panic, they were trampling each other. Taking advantage of their panicked state, Both of them blocked their escape route from both sides.

Daisy was coming from the left, while fatty was attacking from the right.

After twenty minutes all the beasts on the shore were wiped out. There were only beast corpses scattered all over. There was a sense of achievement on fatty's face as he looked at the notification, in front of him. Daisy also had a smile on her face.

Daisy also redeemed her new firearm artifact from the shop. She looked at the artifact's skills and stats.

" This…" She was really surprised by seeing all the stats. This was a huge upgrade from her current gun, even though both were rank A artifacts, the stats of this artifact was way higher and the durability was unparalleled.

She aimed the gun towards a beast corpse and shot one round without using her aura.

The beast's corpse blew up into smithereens, The impact force was way higher, as she felt the recoil. If she used her aura to reinforce the bullet, then it would have been devastating. She gulped after looking at the gun again. The black texture gave off an intimidating look. When she was admiring her new artifact, she felt a sudden vibration in the gun. She tried to hold it differently. When she turned the gun, a sudden snap was heard on the front.

" What was that ?" She looked at the muzzle but didn't see anything wrong.

' Forget it, I will find out what's up with this mysterious artifact.' She thought to herself.

" Now that you've got your new toys, let's put them to the test." August was ready to take them to the next place.

They appeared in another part of the shore. Fatty and Daisy didn't wait for August to tell them, as they started rampaging.

Fatty used the new hammer to slam the ground as it created a shockwave that swept across the shore. All the beasts that were near him instantly turned into pulp.

" This is amazing." Fatty swung the hammer and the air split in front of him. The beasts that were unfortunate to come in the way of the strikes died before realizing.

Daisy was shooting her gun non stop without stopping. It looked more like a machine gun, with that kind of firing speed. The dense and small bullets carried so much penetrating power in them that the bests turned into minced meat after getting hit by them.

After firing countless shots, she figured out that the bullets returned back to the gun after they hit their target and reattached themselves with the gun.

There was a beaming smile on Daisy's face as she increased her rate of fire.

*ZUT* *ZUT* *ZUT* *ZUT*

Beasts were getting annihilated like lambs as the two were testing their new artifacts.

" Look at them go." August was smiling while watching them hunt.

The new artifacts made them even stronger when faced against lower level beasts, as the boost, the artifacts gave them tremendous firepower. Even S rank beasts would find themselves at a tough spot fighting against both of them.

Not even ten minutes have passed and all the beasts on that part of the shore were lying dead on the ground.

" Now rest for half an hour. Then we will start hunting beasts inside the lake." August gave them some time to catch their breath.

" Bro… How are we going to fight monsters underwater? " Fatty asked while sitting on a rock.

" I have something that will help you out." Two black balls appeared in front of Fatty and Daisy.

" What is this ?" Fatty didn't understand why August gave them the balls.

" Is this the same material used for the gun ?" Daisy asked as she noticed that the texture was the same as her gun.

" Now that you say it.."

" Yes, it's the same material. I redeemed it from my store." August said to them while clearing his throat.

" This is a multi-purpose suit that can change shape depending on your environment. You can also change its design according to your liking. Just imprint the ball with your aura and it will attach itself to you."

After hearing the explanation, both of them applied their aura to the black sphere. The sphere turned into a mesh and started to crawl up on their skin. The sphere turned into a sheet of ultra thin membrane and covered their entire body, on top of their clothes.

" Damn… this is so handy." Fatty said out loud, as he tried to change the color and style of the suit.

Daisy used her aura to make the suit look like a tactical diving suit.

Looking at her suit, Fatty also changed it to a diving suit, but his design was nowhere near perfect and detailed as hers.

Both of them picked their artifacts and surprisingly, it attached itself to the back of their suit while changing shape to fit properly. The hammer turned thin and looked like a wide machete, as for Daisy's gun, it retained the same dimensions but folded all the side panels. It looked like a long sword while being attached to her back.
