Chaotic Start

{DAY ONE, EASTERN FRUIT FOREST}

The total number of Scepter members dropped in this location was 4, but none of them knew the place of the others. It would be foolish to reveal the location this early, so they all decided to keep hiding and observe the proceedings of the game. all except one person.

Finley was running around to find some opponents for fighting, he kept his movements swift and silent, but his impatience was not letting him sit in one place. As he kept running around to find anyone, his teammates spotted him a few times, mainly because they knew what the camouflage uniform is supposed to look like.

"What is that guy that guy thinking?" Ray thought to himself when Finley ran through the tree he was hiding in.

"Was that fin?" Isaac was a little startled when Finley suddenly passed by him.

Cerene didn't react the first time she spotted Finley, but after he went around her a few more times, she was annoyed. "If I see him again, I am going to change my hiding place."

"Where are the enemies hiding? why am I only finding my teammates?" Like everyone else on his team, Finley was annoyed as well.

The reason they were not able to find any enemies was because of the choice Lucian made. There were two options for being transported, either go as a team or be separated. and as we all know, Lucian separated his team. The reason for his choice was to keep the team safe. all the teams which chose to be transported together were thrown in the middle of the river.

Currently, all the teams are busy fighting in the river. It was an all-out battle between teams but it's nothing to worry about. Only one team was going to come out from that river, but that will take around two days, so let's go and take a look at what other Sceptre members are doing.

{DAY ONE, NURSERY SWAMPS}

Four other members were dropped here as well, but they teamed up pretty quickly. Rose and Anya were spotting and taking out opponents around the river together, using simple tag-team techniques. while Terrence covered Evan as he drew enemies out with a lure-and-kill strategy.

Their battle was over in around a day, with only the team members remaining there after sunset in about half a day. It was quick as it was efficient, with proper scouting and enough hits, all the enemies fell easily. After the two teams spotted the other 'cleaning up' the opponents, they decided to gather all the knocked-out bodies and pile them up together. So by sunset, a big pile of tied-up opponents was spotted on the river bank.

{DAY TWO, WESTERN FRUIT FOREST}

Aisha woke up to the sound of something being dragged through the leaves several meters below her. quietly drawing her bow, she aimed at the moving body.

To her surprise, the person getting dragged was her teammate Jin. he didn't have his spear with him, but he didn't look knocked out to be getting dragged like this. Aisha decided to keep watching before acting. The opponent dragged Jin, but it felt like too much effort for him as his leg was cut and bleeding profusely.

Jin opened his eyes and looked around a bit before he spotted Aisha in the trees, who had her arrow aimed at him dust circling the tip. He gave her a wink and signaled her to keep it down with his fingers and closed his eyes again. if she took the shot, the entire plan would be ruined. When Aisha put the arrow back in the quiver, Tom appeared behind her. "keep quiet and follow him. we are getting to the enemy base."

Although startled by his sudden appearance, Aisha did as instructed and started following Jin. She was having a hard time keeping track of Tom, who kept disappearing in and out of view. After following the opponent for like an hour, they finally arrived at what looked like a base.

A campfire surrounded by the members of cabin two fully welcomed Jin as he was dragged by the injured member. Before Aisha could go inside, she was stopped by Tom. He signaled her to stay behind and cover him and disappeared among the leaves, erasing his presence completely. not knowing what to do, she aimed at the center of the camp and started using the spell on the arrow. on the signal, she was ready to create a dust storm around the camp.

Jin opened his eyes, absorbing his environment before acting. His hands were tied behind his back and his legs tied together. He activated a spatial circle right below him while opponents treated their injured companion; it was only large enough for one person to squeeze through, but that was enough.

In a split second, multiple actions took place that caused chaos in the entire camp. Jin was thrown high in the air, distracting all campers, which helped the entrance of the last person in the equation. Seraphina entered the camp through the spatial circle in a flash, throwing a spear straight toward Jin, whose binds were already removed. A spell-bound arrow struck the ground, engulfing the entire camp in an explosion of dust that turned into a dust storm.

There were screams of agony, but they died down as the dust settled. unconscious bodies of the campers lay down, covered in a thin layer of dust, with cuts and bruises all over them. Aisha jumped down and recovered all her arrows from the fallen opponents. Among the opponents, there was one person who was still awake, fully conscious yet unable to run as her legs were broken.

"I think you might have overdone the part where we were supposed to not let anyone run," Jin commented.

"It's not my fault she has a weak body," Seraphina replied, somewhat irritated because she didn't mean to break her legs.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" the opponent screamed. She was trying to crawl away.

"Don't move," Aisha said, "you don't wanna ruin the injuries any further."

"How did you get in here?" the opponent asked, almost bursting into tears, "I had multiple people on surveillance."

As if waiting for her to say that, Tom appeared out of nowhere, "You mean those guys?" multiple bodies fell out of trees. "I took care of them."

As Tom approached the enemy for interrogation, she fainted. Jin sighed loudly, "Did you make them all fall at once on purpose?"

"Yeah." Tom shrugged, "it adds to the effect."

"Tie them up." Jin instructed others, "tom, keep an eye out for any intruders."

"On it," Tom said and flew off. Aisha and Seraphina began collecting the enemies that Jin disarmed.

After the sunset at the end of day two, all four of them left the camp and went on different paths with extra weapons and equipment in their storage.

Day two marked the end of the river battle, along with the elimination of multiple teams. An announcement at the end of the day was made that told everyone about the eliminated teams.

"Following teams are unable to maintain a minimum number of active members and are hence eliminated. Team 1 of candidate Abner, from the state of Belon.

Team 2 of candidate Woody, from the state of Arrowwater.

Team 3 of candidate Ezra, from the state of Dimhel.

Team 4 of candidate Rowan, from the state of Casca.

Team 5 of candidate Kyla, from the state of Mythpass.

Team 9 of candidate Amber, from the state of Cambole.

Team 10 of candidate Mynth, from the state of Nadiz.

Team 11 of candidate Ash, from the state of Brinehelm." The announcement was repeated multiple times.

"That means we only have four teams left to take care of." someone from team eight muttered as she lay down on a tree branch in swampy forest, west of the river. Unknown to her, she was getting targeted by a formidable opponent. Eve had all the traps set around the sleeping opponent, ready to take her out first thing in the morning. She left as soon as she was done and only stopped after she reached her base. Sylph welcomed Eve into her canopy on top of the trees. "How many?" she asked

"Nine. they will be out as soon as they wake up, or even move in their sleep. how many did you get?" Eve settled down slowly.

"Eight." sylph closed the tent and turned off the light. "tell robin to get some rest, he has been watching the whole day."

"Yes, I will switch with him, you tell Sarah to go out for patrol," Eve said and activated the spatial circle on the bottom of the tent to drop down. Robin climbed out from there and immediately went to sleep.

The first two days were the hardest for every team as the competition was fierce and the forest was densely filled with opponents.

Day third saw no interaction between any teams, most teams took that time to recover and gather information for the fourth day.
