Thy King

Luna is actually nervous of insisting the talk. Well, she does not have any idea who this 'old fart' her sister said is. But he really is crazy rich. She does not care how wealthy he is but she wants to make things clear in her mind.

They walked back into the upper floor opposite on her room's side, which is the dark part of it. After a minute of walk, a breech wood door with a golden knob revealed in her eyes. Gael stood in front of the door as she did behind his back.

"My King, your beautiful spouse is requesting for a convocatio."

Seconds later, Thiago, who's holding a torch, opened the door bowing his head before their eyes met. Gael turned to her and motioned his right hand to the dark room.

Does their King afraid of the light?

She walked inside trusting herself to them. She cannot see anything except Thiago when he closed the door leaving Gael behind.

"Forgive me, thy Queen. Thy King does not like to see blinding lights. Please have your seat here."

With the dim light the torch produces, she saw another antique breech wood chair with perfectly carved roses to its side. It looks like a mixed modern and classical art because of the soft cushion over the wood probably for more comfortable sitting. She walks to the chair, putting down her buttocks and felt the softness and warmth of the cushion.

This is better than having a couch. And yes, it's expensive.

Thiago put the torch to something made it stand on its own as he bowed his head and leave her alone.

Was she all alone in the room now? She couldn't hear anything and it feels empty. She narrowed her eyes in her surroundings but it's totally dark. She wanted to look around holding the torch and look for the switch to turn the lights on but she does not want to be rude. This isn't her home.

"Hello?" She spoke to make sure if she's alone or not.

The silence is deafening and she started feeling cold. For damn's sake, she's wearing a short sleeved dress!

"There's a coat behind you."

She stiffened from the soft baritone voice she heard from nowhere. So she's not alone! And...

And...

Is this the voice of the 'old fart' her sister is saying? This voice is completely a fine man's voice, not an old man!

She turned her head behind her and saw a white fluffy huge coat which would make her totally warm.

"Can I use it, sir?"

There's a deafening silence again.

"You may."

No hesitation, she stood to get the coat hang, sit and covered it to her body after thanking him. Now she felt so warm like someone is hugging her. She looked around to find where this man would be sitting or standing or whatever.

This man is talking normal to her! Unlike Thiago and Gael! Is he normal than the other?

"Sir?" She spoke again.

No response.

"How much did my parents owe you?"

"10 Million Euro"

Her eyes widened to his straight cold answer. The hell she thought he is normal! He was only playing kind a while ago!

"Then what... would I do to repay it?"

She heard a scoff making her lose her hope. This man isn't what she thought at first.

"You will die before you go out, señorita."

And he really is. With his playful threat, you would really feel scared. But she is too used on hearing threats that she doesn't find it too scary. She wanted to know why... why would she die before going out? Why does people afraid of this place? Why do women couldn't make it out alive? Or why would they go crazy if they managed to go out? What is behind this beautiful castle?

"I will be your wife. That should do right, sir?" She asked determined to know the answers.

Thiago told her that she has to be his wife so what would the things she should do and not? What are the forbidden and what are the consequences?

The deafening silence as a response almost made her ask if the person she's talking with is still breathing or not. It's because it really feels that she's alone in the room.

She heard another scoff in the opposite making her think. This man must be bitter to... something?

"Wife? I don't need a wife. They're useless."

She's right. He is being bitter about marriage but why? And what did he do with those women who couldn't make it out alive?

"Tell me what should I do, sir, and I shall fulfil your desire." She was searching where should he be possibly standing or sitting- and then she heard a small laugh.

"Those eyes are sure naughty, señorita.

I am in my bed desiring to touch you all over and make you scream all 15 days."

She stiffened, hearing her rumbling chest, sending chills all over her body. She cannot breath but she can breathe, what is this? When did she become unready to this kind of conversation? She was used to this kind of things but she could feel her getting wet, down there.

This isn't good.

Since when did she get turned on just by hearing nasty words? This isn't right.

"But don't dare come closer to me, señorita. You will make it out alive right?"

She looked right straight to her front suspecting that he is there.

"Yes."

He scoffed. "Then serve me within a year without going outside the boundaries of your own castle."

"And you will let me go?"

"No.

You are mine until you die."

She cursed in her mind feeling the throb in between her legs. She wanted to hear his voice... more... more of his sexy voice... She wanted to hear it all day because it's so sexy... she supposed to ask again but the door opened bringing a little light towards her.

"It's time to have a beautiful sleep, my Queen." Gael announced bowing his head like butlers do.

She looked at somewhere in the darkness and then to Gael. She stood up and brought back the coat to where it is hung. She walked towards Gael and then looked back at the darkness.

"Have a good night, sir."

In the dark, he remained blank as he looked at another victim who will fall from his wrath and who just told him to have a good night.

Since when did I have a good night?

LUNA soaked herself to the archeo copper bathtub with warm water. She was thinking about how she became wet just by his nasty words. His voice is occupying her mind and it was like she is listening to it again. She soaked half of her face.

You are mine until you die.

What does that supposed to mean? She will remain in this castle for a year without going outside the gate! She will serve him every day! Isn't that enough to repay 10 Million Euro? And what does he mean... serving him? Is it sexual pleasure? Or serving that means... giving him food and making him comfortable? But he also said not to go near him, so it doesn't mean they will have an intercourse, but why? Why can't she go near him?

She looked up in the ceiling leaving a heavy sigh.

Papa, who on earth did you encounter that I have to stay here? And why... why here?

The next morning, she woke up early to make a move on serving him. But as she opened the door, Gael was there bowing his head.

"It is good to see you earlier in the morning, milady. May I ask why is it? My King wouldn't be happy to hear about this."

"I will prepare his breakfast." She walked passed him.

"Can I use the kitchen? Wait," She then stopped remembering something and turned to him.

"What does your King often eat in the morning? Does he drink coffee? What foods does he like?"

Gael didn't lose his smile this time, but deep inside, his mind was telling him to react surprised. He is adjusting to look normal because of the changes he is encountering with his new milady.

"The King likes no food, milady. He eats only what Thiago offer him. But I cannot let you cook -- " Gael's eyes went wide as he heard the voice of his King in his mind.

Luna saw that but then his gentle smile came back.

"I shall escort you to the cuisine, milady."

That was one-time evidence. She saw two sides from Gael's personality. He is gentle in the physical and unsure about the other.

"Let's go." She started walking down the staircase, but Gael suddenly snapped

"Milady-

And then everything in her vision went black that's why she got unsure of where to step and then she only knew is that her left foot slipped then a hand grabbed her hand and felt a hand gripped her waist.

Light produced by the fire from the torch that has just lit up, she knew she was saved and Gael was holding her in a very close position. He then lifted her up like a bride, normally walked downstairs, and put her down with care.

"Forgive me for overlooking my responsibility to tell you that every 6:00 in the morning the castrum would turn off all the lights." He bowed his head forgetting to show a gentle smile and Luna didn't let that escape.

"Thank you for saving me."

"My Queen, it's my responsibility-

"Did it scare you?"

He stiffened realizing that he lost is composure. She found it out! She found him getting scared of his punishment after making a mistake and he can feel him somewhere.

"It is okay, Gael-

She was cut by the loud groan of her valet as he fell into the ground, his calf was cut off from his knee and blood stained the floor. She stepped back feeling all the shock in herself, her hands getting cold, her lips started trembling before she finally let out a loud cry before losing her consciousness.
