Romeo and Juliet

"Is he somewhat a fiancé?" Stella asked again.

"Did he kidnap you? Did they threaten you?" Now she's shaking her.

Luna sighed.

Stella and her unthinkable imagination.

"He is a perfect Adonis, Lunie! His body is fine and I want to touch those biceps behind his coat... I wonder how many abs - Oh Oh, I can see big bird and its 2 perfect round eggs-

"Stella." She warned her from her wicked eyes again.

Stella turned back to her smiling.

"I'm sorry, Lunie. But who is he?"

Sneaking again and again, she opened the King's breech wood door, holding a torch and a book.

"Marido?" She called him and closed the door.

"Querido? Are you awake?" She started walking to the chair where she usually stays.

"I want to tell you the story of Romeo and Juliet-

"No. Don't read that to me."

She stilled for a second because of his voice, sounds like warning her.

"Why? It's a very good play." She defended confused, looking somewhere in the darkness.

He tsked making her more confused.

"Is it because they ended tragically, marido?" She teased with a small grin on her lips. She heard a scoff making her laugh.

"I got it, querido. I won't read tragic plays for you." She put down the book and looked for another play. After a minute of nibbling the book,

"Nah. They are all tragedies." She groaned and leaned to the back of her seat.

After a moment of silence, she sighed and stared at the darkness above her and series of moments barged in her mind. She put her hands above her abdomen and started playing with her fingers, unconsciously.

"Your castle is not scary at all, marido." She spoke, thinking of all the things she had done these past days. She did not feel boredom. She felt happy doing what she did.

"In my home, I couldn't work free. I cannot wash the dishes. I cannot cook. I cannot wash my clothes... because my father won't allow me...

But truthfully, I sneak out just to wash my own clothes because I don't like the smell of our servants' washed clothes... I also wanted to try washing the plates but my father won't let me. That is why, as a naughty daughter, I secretly worked in a café just to learn washing dishes and cleaning." She paused, laughing, and looked somewhere in the darkness spotting where he could be staying.

"Since I went here, I can freely do household chores, marido. I can cook for your meal, go to the garden, plant flowers, and clean some rooms in the castle..." She started playing with her fingers with a small smile on her lips.

"It's all thanks to you, marido. I have done those things I couldn't do back then." She paused for a second before her smile widened. "I want to be a good mother to my children, querido. That is why I want to learn how to be good inside a home."

She still could remember when her mother beat her up whenever her father is not around, with no particular reason. That time, she promised to herself to be good to her children, adopted or not, because everyone feels emotion, specially, the pain.

She raised her head and looked somewhere in the darkness.

"I am grateful to be here, marido."

That was the rarest word he had ever heard from anyone. No one has ever felt grateful to be in his castle. No matter how good his castle looks and how he treated them well, they would still leave, they would betray him, they would disobey him, they're not grateful, and they only want is his wealth and power.

And this woman, she never got a hold of his money but she is grateful. She worked hard with the things she suppose not to do inside his castle, but she is happy.

"I will look for a good book to read, marido." She stood up and got the torch and the book.

"Good morning, querido." She greeted before walking to the door and went out to go back to her room.

As the door closes, deep in the darkness, it was not the darkness filling his vision but his inside. His chest felt heavy as the door closed, unhappy to see her leave. She would usually talk and talk until the morning that's why he stayed up all night. He wanted to hear her stories. He wanted to hear him call marido or querido... He wanted to know all what she thinks... He wanted to hear her how grateful she is to him... He wants her to stay...

But he was meant to be alone in the first place. He had wealth and power but he has never reached the peak of satisfaction.

This sucks.

She looked at Gael and then to Stella.

"He is a butler." She stated and saw how Stella was overwhelmed with surprise.

"Can you tell him to fuck me?"

"Stella." She warned again because she knows Gael is listening to them. She held her hand tight.

"Now that you know I'm fine, you should go."

"How long will you stay here?" Stella whined after a bit of silence.

She sighed and looked at her eyes.

"I will be here for a year or more. Don't visit me. I will call you as soon as I am back."

Stella silently watched her eyes tearing up. She knows Luna is fine but she cannot just afford not be by her side always. If she can only provide her what she needs, she will give it. If only she could give her what she wants then she will do her best, but for the time being, they will be apart for some reasons. Maybe it's time... to part ways with her. She held her two hands and looked straight right her pupils.

"Please comeback. I will wait for you, a year or more."

Luna nodded as they hugged through the grills one last time. She watched Stella walking away and only felt relieved went she saw her driving her car.

She started walking back to the castle, Gael's at her back. She wanted to make sure Stella will be safe so she stopped as soon as they entered the dark castle and looked at her valet.

"Will Stella be okay?" She bawled wanting a positive answer from him. But then she saw a wide grin on her valet's lips making her more worried.

"Can I fuck her, milady? My big bird and its perfect round eggs are ready." He started chuckling and it turned into a laugh that he had been stopping while eavesdropping the two.

He did not expect his milady's friend to be so good in vision that she visualized it without even taking a look.

"Now I know why it doesn't bother you when I become cocky, milady. Your friend is worse than the fuck out of me."

He is still laughing and she watched him. It was the first time her valet laughed like this. This is a good scene. It's a good thing that she can make him laugh. It took seconds for him to stop and bowed his head.

"Please forgive your handsome valet with big bird, milady." Now he is formal but almost cocky.

"I can assure you that your friend will be fine." He announced making her relieved.

I still want to fuck her, milady and see what she's made of.

Luna thanked him before walking towards the door to the garden with Gael holding a torch to guide her. As soon as flowers appeared in her vision, she half-ran to smell them.

"This smells good, Gael!" She picked one flower and smelled it again. And then she walked to another kind of flower to pick one and smell it again.

"Hmm. This should be watered right away-"

She stilled and shocked as she turned to see her valet.

He was holding his right toes that is slowly turning into ash and his toes growing back.

"I laughed too loud, milady. That's why." He explained shrugging, slightly moving up his shoulders.

She chuckled wagging her head in disbelief.

"The King simply hates you, Gael." She started smelling back the flowers. She stopped as soon as she remembered that they are in the left wing of the castle's garden and the King's room was above them. She searched her eyes to his closed windows and curtains. And then she saw a small balcony, door closed, and she only thought one of William Shakespeare's famous play.

"Here I thought I am Romeo and you are Juliet with closed doors." She spoke looking up to his right window.

"But it is better that you maintain closing it." She smiled.

"So no one will have a bitter ending." She closed her eyes and smelled the flower in her hand.

"We are another Romeo and Juliet."
