Chapter 4

The next few hours are filled with lots of visitors! First of all Joonie's parents and Sister. They bring balloons, presents, cards and food from lots of well wishers and enjoy having cuddles and photos with our little princess. When we are allowed to leave the hospital the plan is to go and stay with them for a few days and as my parents should have arrived in Seoul by then from Spain they will also be staying at the Kim's. We decided we needed some full family bonding.

The next people to visit are Lori and Yoongi. They haven't brought Yeong with them as he is a very active 14 month old so they left him at home with their Nanny Ahnjong. One of the perks of being with a global superstar is you can afford a little help. Just after Lori and Yoongi got married they moved out of the house we all shared and bought their own little place not far away. They didn't think it was fair on the rest of us being disturbed by a baby at all hours and one room just wasn't big enough for all 3 of them. We plan on doing the same and have been looking for somewhere but haven't found the 'one' yet.

The Min's new place is really lovely. The exterior is a mixture of large glass windows, white and grey marble and dark wood cladding. It has 4 bedrooms and a nice garden, it also has a huge kitchen and a room in the attic that Yoongi plans to make into a studio when he has the time. Lori has been spending time decorating it to both of their tastes and making it a nice mix of East meets West. So far it looks great, she has very good taste.

"Congratulations sweets!" She says running to me and hugging me. Yoongi hangs back, his arms laden with gifts. At this rate we are going to need another room just to put all of her stuff in. Lori moves towards the crib, where Jangmi is sleeping and comments at how much like Namjoon she looks. "I love the name by the way" she says smiling in a broody way at our girl.

Yoongi steps forward and places the gifts next to me and gives Namjoon a hug, doing the usual manly back slap for good measure. He looks at me and with a gummy smile says "well done mumma, she is beautiful". He is so cute. I can see what Lori loves about him. He walks around to the crib and stands behind his wife staring at the baby and wraps his arms around her waist. "I want another one" he says. Lori chuckles and looks back over her shoulder at him and says "yeah a little girl would be lovely, but let's wait until after your National Service before we start trying again". This is something that both Lori and I have been dreading but it's coming soon. The government had given them an extension until they were 30, and Jin had his birthday last December so he needs to enlist before December this year. As a group they decided to all enlist together, so in November, only 5 months away, they will take a break from the band for at least 18 months whilst they all serve. The plan will be to reform after if the fans still want them too.

The thought of being without our husbands for 18 months is not one we like thinking about but at least we have each other. To take my mind off this impending doom I open the gifts they have brought. So far we have had lots of pink clothes, blankets, teddies, a silver money box, a birth certificate frame and a little silver bangle. Lori has bought some lovely little clothes and knows me so well, she has bought yellow, green blue and of course purple outfits for her. I like pink but it's not my favourite colour. She then passes a box to me and says "this one is for you". I open it and it's a teardrop shaped silver locket on a chain. It has mine and Jangmi's birthstone on it and the symbol of our zodiac sign 'Gemini' too. What a thoughtful gift. I cry at how cute she is. She doesn't say anything and just kisses me on the cheek. Yoongi passes something to Namjoon. He opens the box and inside is a pair of cuff links. They are engraved with 'Daughter' in Korean symbols and has her date of birth on them too. He looks touched and nods at them both I think feeling a little emotional at the personal touch.

On cue to cut the stillness that has come over the room Jangmi wakes up and Namjoon sees to her. This is now his 2nd nappy change, he is definitely wanting to be hands on. After she is clean he passes her to me so I can feed her. I'm not shy so I pop out my boob and assist her to latch on. Yoongi blushes a little and giggles but quickly gets over any discomfort he felt.

Once she has finished feeding Yoongi takes her and winds her, he is quite the pro. He gives her a cuddle and then says the cutest thing to her. "When you grow up, you can be anything you want to be. Hard work and effort helps but having a passion and a dream is how me and Daddy got to be who we are, I wish you every happiness in your future little one". Lori is so lucky to have him, he is very sweet and smart and passionate about his music, and according to Lori, that passion is always with him in the bedroom too. Although, it's not always in the bedroom she says.
