Assumptions

I had thought of love as a wicked deception

At least until his unexpected intrusion

Now all is said and done

Love is something I can never abandon

Rationality does not quell the thirst of one's yearning

Dignity, it seems, pales in comparison to a person's earnest longing

The years go by, and one will always end up remembering

Real love is undoubtedly astounding

All these years of hardship and enduring

Is worthwhile as long as he too, is at the end, waiting

It is all worth trying

Than live one's life, regretting
