Unfolding Toxicity

Gray clouds loomed above her

Life has ruined her candor

It weighs upon her mind

Why does she continue to be blind?

There was nothing but ire

Fueling that unbridled rage seen in his eyes

She's the subject of his forbidding satires

And things always seemed to be dire

He tainted her love with hate

Her care for indifference

The fight in her had long abated

It was a lost cause with no more than little conscience
