Forgiveness

Soon, Gavriel was shifted to another room where Eva, Aeryn, and Bella saw him.

After assuring themselves that Gavriel was fine, Eva and Aeryn walked out, leaving Bella with him.

Bella gathered her courage and held his hand.

"I'm sorry," she muttered, putting her head on his hand.

"I won't leave you ever. I know I chose to live without you, but it's not fair for me, my baby, and you. I don't know what you had to do with that girl, but what I saw in your eyes these days couldn't be a lie. You tell yourself that you love it, "Bella paused for a second.

"You said you love me." Bella caressed his cheek. Her heart was beating fast. She wanted to hear those words from the start, but he didn't utter them once, and now when he did, she was not able to process them.
