Who Was Dave's Mother?

Although he got out of a cheap car, Dave did not feel embarrassed at all. Instead, he held his head up and pulled a straight face, which seemed to be telling those stupid human beings to stop staring at him.

Hester had thought that Dave would feel embarrassed because of her car, but to her surprise, this kid didn't show any sign of that.

Well, it seemed that he wasn't an arrogant and spoiled naughty kid.

Hester's view on Dave had changed a little. She rolled down the window and said to him, "I'll bring you lunch at noon. Don't piss off any teachers."

The boy snorted, 'Stupid woman, why would I care how those stupid teachers feel?'

"Dave." Farley, who had stared at the computer, looked up at his son, "Say thank you to Officer Hester."

"Thanks for taking me here, Officer Hester," Dave said reluctantly. He didn't understand why his father would treat this stupid woman so differently.

"You're welcome. Bye." Hester waved her hand and drove away.
