Kina snorted. She didn't want to spoil her image, so she didn't continue her quarrel with Hester.
Dana also heard their words, so she smiled and whispered, "If you don't know the table manners, just observe Kina. Don't screw up. Your mother is here."
Hearing this, Hester remained silent.
Dana and Kina both thought Hester compromised, so, without thinking, they followed Augustus all the way to the big private room on the top floor.
This room had two closed large doors, at which stood a handsome young man dressed in suits.
When Augustus saw him, Augustus immediately walked to shake his hands, "Mr. Glen, long time no see."
Glen smiled amicably, "Mr. Augustus, you honor me. Long time no see."
"Well," Augustus smiled and stepped aside, saying, "This is my wife, and this is my eldest daughter. You've seen her before."
"Mrs. Carter, Miss Kina, hi!" Glen greeted with a friendly smile. He also saw Hester behind Kina, and said, "This must be your youngest daughter. She looks great!"
