"Are you awake?" Sitting on a chair, Bette looked at Dave with a smile.
The sight of Bette reminded Dave of what had happened.
Back at noon, Dave was waiting for Hester for his lunch. Suddenly, someone caught Dave from his back, and then there came a pungent smell.
"You kidnapped me." Dave was calm though he was at a disadvantage.
Bette was satisfied with his reaction. With a gentle and graceful smile on her face, Bette said, "I invited you here. Your name is Dave, isn’t it? I like you."
"However, I hate you." Dave sat up, and the steel chain on his wrists moved at the same time.
Dave didn’t observe his surroundings till now.
This house must be on a remote beach because Dave could hear the sound of the waves and smell the seawater. The decoration of this house was exquisite, and the bed Dave was sitting on was of high quality. The steel chains on both his hands and ankles limited the movement of Dave.
