Daily Display of Affection

Hester was extremely tired physically and mentally.

The two months of fear was gone with Farley's real body temperature.

Hester missed Farley so much. Even a person like her would only have joy and peace of mind right now.

Hester was hugged by Farley, and his clear scent of plants filled her nose. Farley's soft skin clung to hers. Hester did not know when she fell asleep or how long she slept.

When Hester regained her consciousness, everything was pitch black in front of her. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a trace of warm yellow.

Hester hummed softly and turned to look. She saw Farley reading a document in his hand while leaning against the bed.

What a familiar picture! Hester wondered, 'He's poor now! What documents does he need to look at?'

Hester extended her hand and placed it on the document.

When Farley saw that Hester was awake, he put down the document and took a glass of honey water from the bedside. "Drink some water."
