A storm neaby (1)

We stay on the hill for a long time. An hour or so.

Then, the enemy army starts to assemble. Our soldiers notice and find their place as well. It's odd how I can see everything from here.

People move like ants, in big groups and with their formations. They draw different shapes on the battlefield while everyone reaches their position.

There are many more on the other side of the battlefield than on ours, but today it's an advantage. Less of a chance that one of ours gets hurt.

Oh, but no one will get hurt if I don't lose control.

Ignis holds my hand, intertwining our fingers and squeezing hard.

«Remember not to wipe everyone out,» he says.

«You should go.»

«No, I'll stay with you. How can I leave my wife alone when she's more in need? I'm not afraid of you, Ronnie. You won't hurt me.»
