The epilogue (1)

My family comes to visit when autumn starts. Lars has learnt to walk, and we can't run after him because he's fast. He has too much energy to waste, and only Aestas can keep up with him.

The leaves have turned yellow and covered the Queen's garden. No matter how often they clean it, there are always masses of these everywhere. The children have been collecting them, hiding them in the corners so that the wind doesn't blow them away.

Ignis is as busy as always, and we've got used to it. We found our pace, sort of. Neither of us disregards their duties, but we also find enough time for family.

Father has travelled to Mavale quite a few times lately to check on Marius and me, but he left mother and my other siblings at home. It's the first time in a while they'll come here together.

Oh, well. Not everyone comes. Antonio stays in Narith to manage the fief. He's training to become father's successor while Marius is progressing his career in the Palace offices.
