"Something's wrong. I went looking for her and found her like this. They did nothing to her, I checked her pulse," she spewed.

"Are they playing with us?" Derek spat, irritated.

"I looked around from above, I found no one," she continued.

Without knowing, I looked at the prince. He looked like he was wracking his brain with those furrowed eyebrows. He raised his head to everyone.

"Let's get out of here and just get to safety. We'll talk later. I think I recognize those arrows."

"You do?" Derek pipes up.

"I'm not sure if it's who I think they are." 

Emmanuel quickly cuts his speculation, whispering to me. "What if they're bandits?"

"If they're bandits then how did they take out Sang?" I quietly asked.

"There must've been someone powerful," Derek replied, hearing me.

"Powerful enough to play with a royal subordinate? Why would they leave her like that?" I ended up asking another question.
