I rolled my eyes lazily and turned back around.

Now I was facing the crowned prince. The footsteps faded, and now we were alone.

I wasn't going to suck up to him, I still didn't forgive him for what he did to me. I had to show that I wasn't afraid of him, even if he was frankly one of the strongest here, maybe even the strongest. I wasn't going to give him the respect that he earned from Sang and Derek.

But, my heart couldn't help but beat faster at the fact that it was just us two. I hated that I got vulnerable, thought it was unnoticed.

"What? You about to slam me into another wall?" I cross my arms, leaning on the wall.

He didn't look at me. He looked anywhere but at me. It was almost like he couldn't.

He completely changed, the air around him got thinner for a reason I didn't care. His ordering, leader demeanor was gone too, but I didn't know what it was replaced with.

What was he, bipolar?

"I…" He hesitated.
