Ethan fidgeted in his seat when he saw a bunch of papers on his desk. If he had known that the man wanted to talk about business, he would have declined for the private meeting.

He was still learning how to read and write and though his teacher told him that he was doing an excellent job, he was only able to read and write basic sentences for now.

But these are business papers. How could he understand them? He pulled the collars of his shirt to get rid of the suffocating feeling as his mind started to race to find a perfect excuse that could hide his flaw.
