Chapter 3: Family is LOVE
Atasha is getting ready to fetch her older brother Anthony. She reminisced all her happy moments with her brother Anthony and her cousins Kyle, Boe, Candy, and Bryle. They are the best closest cousin in their family ...
They went everywhere in Paris whenever one of them had a problem. Well in short where is the one then they should all be ... Bar hopping, window shopping, well in all fairness they have business all over Paris some parts of Europe.
"Ate Shai ... I'm here to pick you up and let's go to Kuya Bryle's Bar .. Kyle said with a smile ..
"Dear you see I'm kinda busy here .. I have to get things done before I'll leave .. You know that Mommy wants to go home and go on vacation to the Philippines first .. she explained to her.
Kyle pouted her lips and doing puppy eyes .... "
They actually came from a family of Rich and Famous clans but they are all down to earth when it comes to their character ..
"Shai lets have lunch your always busy there, I don't take no for an answer ... or else I'll kick your ass .... hahaha ... Anthony warned.
"See I told you they're here. You know we were naughty but we love you ... Kyle said while smiling at Anthony.
"Ok fine, I can't stand you you're just afraid I'll go crazy .. hahahaha ... Atasha said laughing while packing her things to go with them.
They went to Bryle's Bar to have lunch and have fun ... At Bryles Bar they always have a spot for them to chill out, relax and have fun.
Those are the things that Atasha will never forget when it comes to her cousins. As always it doesn’t disappoint her when she wants to forget some sort of things that made her feel sad and lonely. Her cousins know her when she has a problem or happy and when she needs some help they are always there to support her. That is why they are all coming to support her in holding their business here in the Philippines.
Back to the present ... (At the airport)
Atasha is waiting for the arrival of her Older Anthony and she doesn't know that her cousins where coming ...
While waiting for them someone texted him ...
"Who is this ... as she watches her cp who texted she smiled a little but that disappeared when she read it .." Sorry for not coming with you to pick up Anthony, because there is a client .. Alex's text.
"ok." Atasha replied in its text.
After a mins .... Alex called her .. She wondered why he was called ....
"Why did you call? Atasha said in surprise ..
'Because your answer to my text is short .. so I'm worried that you might get angry because I didn't accompany you to pick brother up .. Alex explained ..
"It's ok, it's not your obligation to accompany me ... there's a hint in her voice that she's uncomfortable speaking with him ..." Atasha, I hope you give me a chance to be close to you. Hope that we can talk later when I arrived at the Hacienda. I'll be there later.
When she answered Alex with a no, the other line was cut already.
I still want to be close to him but I'm afraid to be hurt again .. It's still hurt everytime I saw him but I am also glad that things are different now cause he wanted to set things right, but how can I control myself I just feel like crazy and weird. Laughing in her mind, annoying, Atahsa shook her head at the thought.
"Hey you ok baby girl? Anthony said that he was the one who just came out of the arrival area.
"Oh hello brother of mine, I'm fine ... so how was your flight? She asked her brother.
"Well I'm doing great and irritated cause they came, turning his head where their cousins waving at her ...
"Hmmm so is this a join forces huh? Who’s in to drive? You are silent in the group chat and you didn't informed me that you will come as well. Hmmm Kuya !!! Atasha pouted her lips cause her brother Anthony never told her that their cousins will be there too.
"Sorry couz for not telling you we wanted to surprise our dear cousin .... Boe said with matching close up smile ...
Kyle hugged her tight and telling her how she misses her.
"Let's have a long trip .. Mommy prepared food that you will definitely like .... Atasha said happily ...
After a long long drive they all reached the hacienda. When they entered the house Atasha saw Alex who seemed to have been waiting for her for hours.
First down Kyle, then Boe and Bryle, then Candy lastly Anthony and Atasha. Bryle put his arm around Atasha and he was surprised by the serious reaction on Alex's face while watching them towards the door of the house.
"Hello pare, I'm Bryle ... Bryle held out his hand to Alex while smiling at him.
Alex shakes his hand with Bryle but his sight is with Atasha.
"Can we talk for a minute Atasha? Looking at Atasha intently.
But she ignored him and walked to the dining room. Alex just sighed at the thought of Atasha was still hurt and he could see it through her eyes when he kissed her.
They were having lunch when Atasha stood up .. "I'm full .. have to go to my room Mommy .. guys we'll bond later okay.
I feel bad ... then she go.
They all feel something is up but they just let it be.
When he was going up of the stairs Alex hold her hand .. "Sha are you ignoring me? Alex asked softly, huskily.
"What do you want? she asked but still going upstairs in her room ..
"I just want to talk to you and explain the time I hurt you .... he followed her in the room ..
"Ok, your 30 minutes starts now .... sitting down on her bed she said.
"Sha I know that I've caused you pain when we first met and I know I was wrong ... but please give me a chance to prove that I can be your best friend, your gang , partner or whatever you may call it as long as you are comfortable with me"traces in his voice the pleading.
She saw pain in his eyes while listening to all his feelings ... God can I really hate this man .. if only I can just run to him and say Alex I still love you as always but I am afraid, afraid of being hurt again.
