So we finally meet

Eires’s eyes fluttered open, and for a moment, everything was hazy. The cool air of the room, the scent of pinewood and damp earth, the faint rustling of the trees outside—it all felt distant, as if she were floating in a dream. Her head throbbed with a dull ache, and she winced as she tried to move, only to find her arms bound behind her, tight and unforgiving.

She blinked a few times, trying to shake off the lingering fog in her mind. How long had she been out? Her thoughts rushed back to the events before she passed out—her confrontation with the fae, the sharp pain in her back from the aconite-tipped silver arrow, the overwhelming drowsiness that followed. The last thing she had seen was Jason’s eyes—full of fury and worry—before the world had gone black.
