I’m really stupid

I had enough of this conversation. I cast a furtive glance at him, suspicious.

I stopped the car after I pushed as far as possible in the forest. Belts detached themselves automatically, freeing us from their grip, and the doors opened.

"Oh, your car— Why do you drive? You should also let it choose your destiny!" he said huskily.

I clenched my lips and a low growl came out of my throat. Sasakawa clicked his teeth down, and he wanted to push the door, but it slipped from his fingers and closed slowly. He looked at it, snarling, and wrinkled his nose in anger. Then he shrugged and walked with a calm step into the clearing, to the forest below.

It was his turn to speak and I said nothing, even though I was more intrigued.

"I must say, I am surprised," he said finally, after we were off the path. "Your instincts are scrambled, Estrange. You do not realize this?" I turned abruptly and looked at him carefully. "What?" he asked, confused and annoyed.
