Estrange's dull existence is suddenly interrupted by a dream that awakens in him an uncontrollable desire mixed with an intense and hitherto forgotten thirst... "She is hurt; probably not seriously, but I do not know what came over me, that stupid misunderstanding. I still do not know what I was thinking when I let her go in an ambulance! I do not understand! It was as if that was not me who was acting! Like I was only a witness and someone else was acting in my place! Shit! I still do not understand! And then— I had to depart when the ambulances made their way to the hospital." 


"Interesting! You did the right thing. And it has not been easy for you." I managed to look into his eyes. 


"Hmm. Nothing more for now," I added, concerned.
