"Can't believe this," I said to myself while chuckling. 


 How can a person leave home as a single man and return that same day as someone whose engagement and wedding is being planned? 


"What! This is fucked up man" I said as I shake my head in disbelief. 


 What a strange world, I can't believe that I was laughing at my friend hours ago for how foolish he is for settling down not knowing I will fall into the same foolishness. 


"Life has a funny way of twisting fate" still chuckling, since it is the only thing I can do for now. 


 To make matters worse, her family already likes me. Who would have known it will only take hearing my name and Catherine's father will accept me instantly. 


 Although I must confess, I found it quite strange considering the compromising situation he found us in.
