"Good morning, Ms. Chin. I am the secretary-"
"Where is he?" she asked.
"Uhmm. Mr. Kim is not here because he's not on duty today."
"I SAID WHERE IS HE?" she raised her voice as she wanted to scream out of anger.
"Ms. Chin, calm down. It will ruin your beauty," her secretary says, as if. Tsk.
"Call him right away. I want to see him TODAY. Do you get that?" she grinned and emphasized the word of today to make me call my boss immediately.
"Did you hear my boss? CALL HIM RIGHT AWAY! Deaf!" her ugly frog slave repeated.
"Or else, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR JOB RIGHT AWAY." She grinned again to scare me.
Witch. Urghh! I can't do anything. I love my work! Huhuhu, I'm sorry, sir, in advance.
*calling*
"Good morning, sir."
"Ms. Sanchez? Why are you calling? You know I'm not on duty today since you were my secretary. What is it all about then?" he answered with confusion.
"I know, sir, but our new investor is here. She wants to meet you RIGHT away." I emphasize the word they want me to say, like, Ughh, they're so annoying.
...
"What?! She's not supposed to be there now. What is she doing?" I asked Ms. Sanchez.
What the—we already talked about it. It's my free day. Urghh. I need to get there as soon as possible.
She's getting on my nerves!
"Okay, Ms. Sanchez. I'll be there in a couple of minutes. Take her to my office. Make sure she will not touch any of my things. Get it?"
"Yes sir" she answered, and then we hung up the phone.
"Troy, I need to go back to my office. It's urgent."
"But you're not on-" Troy would have asked more, but I need to go now.
"I know. I'll call you later. Bye." After the conversation, I ran out of the mall and went to where my car was parked.
Then drive it to my office.
>>Fast Forward
I finally reached my company, and Ms. Sanchez explained everything. Then I enter my office, seeing my new inves-
W-what??? It's like I'm stuck in my position. What the hell is she doing here?
She smiled in front of me and then hugged me. I quickly removed her arms around me, and only then did I have the courage to speak.
"W-what are you d-doing here?" I stuttered. Sh*t. What is happening to me? I cleared my throat, then stood firm and repeated the question.
"I mean, what brings you here?" Oh gosh. I said it well.
"Me? Ocmon, Terry. I'm your new investor. Did I surprise you?" she said in a baby tone.
She did not change at all. Still so immature. No wonder why. She's a spoiled brat anyway. Hayst. She's obviously different from Lianne.
"No. I'm not surprised. I know how desperate you are since back then. So, what's your plan this time?" I smirk to insult her. Well, it's a fact. I'm not kiddin. When she wants something, she will do anything to get it.
"Enough! Is that how you really welcome your new investors?" she grinned.
"Absolutely not. My company's investors, unlike you, deserve to be respected." I smirked again.
"Okay, fine. You still haven't forgiven me? Tsk. It's all done. You've been with Lianne. We were equal. I let you love her."
"So, did I?"
"Are you kidding me?"
"I loved Lianne not because you let me. I loved her because she's the one that my heart wants. Unlike you. You don't deserve to be forgiven, Hannah."
"Fine! Im done here. Let's go." She left with her secretary.
Oh, thanks, G. You saved me from that freakin woman. Hayst.
*Calling..*
"Troy, she's back."
"Who?" he asked.
"Hannah Chin." I sighed.
"Hannah? Your ex?"
"Yeah." I answered.
