She stared hard at him with eyes filled with lust and hatred at the same time. She wanted him and at the same time she doesn't.
" I know you like me " he said cockily as he step forward slowly making her hold her breath.

" Stay where you are! Don't come any more closer" she threatened but her voice betrayed her.

" Or else what?" He asked with his signature smirk.

" Ok" he stated and then the next thing he did shocked her to the core.

Rahama a beautiful, rich and ambitious woman who steps on anyone she wants. She believes everyone should be under her feet worshipping her. Not until she met Sadiq, her mechanic who shockingly put her in her place the first time they met.

She was flabbergasted that a nobody like Sadiq did something as raised his voice at her , something no one has ever done not even her father . Things became worst when he came to seek for a job in her father's company and was openly employed by her father.

She paused when she recognized the voice. It was as if the ground should open and swallow her. 


" I'm so sorry Mansir. I thought it was someone else" she tried making her voice sound thin. 


Mansir never knew this side of hers. He sees her as a calm and gentle lady. This behavior of hers really surprised him. 


" Who may have annoyed the beautiful lady to this extent? "

She blushed when he called her beautiful, even if he couldn't see her. 


" it one of my mechanic. Don't mind him" she replied playing with her long hair. 


She smile lovingly " it went well at first but didn't end well" she frown remembering the goons 


" how do you mean love? " he asked concerned 


" it just erm_. Don't mind me, it nothing serious " she changed her mind. She still hasn't fully trusted him enough to tell him about the rape incidence. 


" yeah, I'm sure . Tell me how your day went? " she was smiling goofyly. Whenever she is talking to Mansir it as if she isn't in her real mind. The way she smiles and blushes when they talk is surprising to she herself . 


The man is a gentleman unlike that arrogant mechanic man 


Why are you thinking about him Rahama? Stop it, she scolded herself. Instead, she focused all her attention on the other man at the other side of the phone. 


" well, I closed a deal with some Koreans today. Let's just say my day went perfectly as planned " he boosted 


" Don't tell me you're one of those people that usually plan how their day will go?. Alot of business men does that ." she tried joking 


His deep laugh resonate through the phone" of course not love, I just predicted. I'm not that type of man. But what if I'm that kind of man , will you still marry me? " 


" you don't need to answer if you're not ready love. I'll still be here waiting till you are ready for marriage " he said like a true gentleman 


She was speechless " no ,no, I know what I want to say, please let me. To your question, of course I will marry you regardless of whether you plan your day or not. If I get to marry you, always remember that I married you for who you are. You are a gentleman Mr Mansir.It's rear finding a gentle man like you . If we end up together then I'll be lucky to have you as my husband " 


The kind of joy Mansir felt as she said this was unexplainable. He has been wanting to hear it since the day he set his eyes on her so that he can take the next step on his plan. 


" thank you miss Rahama. You just made me the happiest man on earth. 


"I also promise to be the only man for you and whosoever tries to come between us will definitely regret ever making the decision . Since I now know that our feelings is mutual, I promise to wait for you till you're ready to become my woman. " 


She was speechless. Feelings? Do I really love him? 


" erm thanks, I guess. " not sure of what else to say. 


" so are still up for tomorrow's outing? " Mansir pretended as if he wasn't hurt by her reply. 


" I'm 100% up for it . I wouldn't miss it for anything " she answered 


" OK love. I'll pick you up around 2:00pm from your house " 


" Goodnight and always remember that I love you"
