Helia had finished her training and lessons and had nothing to do since her mother had gone to the mortal world, blessing marriages, and would now be stuck in her office doing paperwork. She knew she could always go and sit with her mother in her office, but did not want to get in the way, so she opted to sit in one of the gardens.
“What’s up, Hills?” she heard Hermes ask from behind her.
“Oh, hi, Hermes,” Helia greeted as she turned to look at him. “I’m just waiting for mama to finish with her work. What are you up to?”
“Nothing, just roaming around.” Hermes took a seat beside Helia on the soft grass, looking up to the sky. They sat in comfortable silence, overlooking the flowers and some of the residents walking through admiring the garden.
“Hermes?”
“Yea, Hills?”
“Do you like my mom?”
“What do you mean?”
