Thanksgiving

It was the last week of November when the girls said goodbye in a tight, long hug, followed by a passionate kiss. It was something they had been doing for a few weeks now and didn't plan on stopping anytime soon. The only difference was that usually when they kissed, at least one of them was smiling or laughing. This time, Nyxie had tears in her eyes, and Gracie tried to calm her down.

"Hey," she whispered after separating their lips and tugging the blonde into another hug. "I'm gonna see you in a few days, Nyx."

"I know," she sniffled and when they pulled away, Garciela cupped the sides of her face gently, giving her a smile that made her chuckle. "I'm being so stupid. I hate my emotions."

"You're not and you shouldn't," Gracie said, her thumb brushing over the girl's jawline as her hands fell downward, cupping her neck softly. "You're an emotional person; it's okay. And we're gonna see in a few days, alright?"
