My turn

The last days before the end of the Fall quarter sent every college student flying around. The constant struggle of keeping up with work while attempting to concentrate on their studies placed more than a lot of people in a panic mode. That meant work shifts canceled, calling in sick, full libraries, and most of all—more work for the ones who did make it to their duties.

And adding all that stress to trying to make their holiday plans come true, bear with visiting or being visited by toxic and pompous families... That never ended great.

When finally, the break did get there, most of the students slept until noon, ordered takeout, and enjoyed themselves for the very last time before having to see their families, who in some cases were horrific, in others, not even close.
