A Monstrous Sea of Flames

Hina was standing within the circle at this point, her face contorted with astonishment as she looked about.

Flames?

Roja was able to create flames with his sword?

Hina looked at Roja, who was clutching his weapon, with amazement in her eyes.

Roja has the ability to manipulate flames.

Hina had a flashback to the level 1 ape who had been burnt and remembered it. She had no idea that Roja had come here after the animal had perished until now. But, but, but... It seems that Roja was the one who put it out to its misery.

Hina finally woke up after gazing into Roja's eyes for a long time. It's still hard for me to believe what I'm hearing. Roja saw such a dramatic transformation in only one month.

While her gaze remained focused on Roja, she began to speak. The latter had already raced out of the ring of fire and was beheading all of the creatures when we arrived. Many creatures were on the ground, wailing in agony, but they would be struck down one by one in the near future.

Despite the fact that it had been through so much bloodshed, there was not a drop of blood on Honoo no Tsuki.

Blood had completely vanished, and even the surrounding environment was devoid of any trace of the substance.

Golden flames flew up and down as Roja acted as if she were a fire magician, and the whole world was carried away like a lovely golden flower.

Roja dashed to the remaining 10 creatures and killed them all in one go. After then, the flame on the blade started to go away gradually over time.

This is the point at which Hina, who was standing nearby, slowly woke up. She couldn't believe what had occurred, so she hesitantly said, "Are you...?" "Are you actually Roja?" I inquire.

"Can you guess who I am then?"

It was Hina who caught Roja's attention, and it seemed as if this sister had finally grasped the situation.

Even at this point, the fire was still blazing away.

Given that it was in the forest, it would be difficult to prevent it from spreading, and if it did not contain itself, I would almost certainly burn the whole island.

When the flames become any bigger they will put out the fire themselves. However, if there is just a little amount, it should not be a problem."

"Then...," says the author. Let's go back to work on the hunt."

Roja's eyes glowed with excitement as she explained that they would only have to let the flame to burn for a short time while they hunted for the creature that had escaped.

The fire had subdued the monster in the surrounding area at this point, and their innate dread of it began to manifest itself in them.

While Roja was acting as if he were a fire general, all of the monsters were afraid to approach him and began to flee.

"Take to the skies!!!"

As soon as he saw this, Roja's head sank and his lips opened to show an ugly grin as he snatched his blade and swept out of the room.

Hum

In a split second, Roja swept the flames away from Honoo No Tsuki's corpse. Then, the fire shot out of Roja's sword and split into four halves that flew after five monsters that had fled like fireballs from the battlefield.

Although they avoided a direct strike, those monsters were lighted up in the blink of an eye the next instant.

When they tittered, they all started rolling about on the ground, but it didn't do anything to put out the fire.

The few monsters that were rolling prompted all of the shrubs in the surrounding region to catch fire as a result of the ensuing firestorm.

The stronger creatures immediately began to flee, tucking their tails between their legs as they attempted to make their way further into the forest.

But how could Roja allow his preys to escape his clutches?

"Now, I'd want to go for a run... "It is too late now."

Roja grinned, and anybody who sees this smile would believe that a person who smiles like this will not hurt either humans or animals. Unfortunately, he continues to wield his sword.

a whiz in the making! (fire projection sound effects )

The next instant, flames erupted from his blade once again, this time sweeping in all directions immediately.

This time, though, the field was totally devoid of order. All of the monsters began to escape from the blazing inferno. Others were burned by the flames, and some were even smashed into trees as a result of the panic.

The woodland was engulfed in flames.

Roja was the one who set the fires. Almost no monster had the courage to stand up to him.

Even a level 5 monster would be alarmed and attempt to flee if faced with this situation.

Roja was now wielding his sword, killing any creature that managed to flee. He had already slain a significant number of monsters by this point in the game.

Hina, who had been beside Roja the whole time, was gazing at Roja with a puzzled expression on her face, and her heart was pounding like a drum in her chest.

Is he, in fact, Roja?

Unless she could feel the heat of the flame, she would believe that she was in a dream and that she was waking up.

The flames were engulfing the landscape, which seemed to be transforming into a gigantic sea of flame. The area where Roja goes will be engulfed in flames.

The flame was nearly completely in control of everything within the forest.

Roja had invincibility. Even if a more powerful monster came, it would have no clue how to deal with him since all it would be thinking about is how to get away.

with the flames spreading in every direction

Two…

... five...

ten...

Roja was able to eliminate every creature in his path, and the number of dead monsters continued to rise. Although the sword was unable to cut through them, fire did the trick; even a level 5 monster couldn't stand up to it, so how could a level 4 monster stand against it? Monstrous creatures were reduced to nothingness under the blade of his sword.

This was the island that had been prepared by the Marines for the evaluation. Roja, on the other hand, is going to burn it to a crisp.

Everything will burn no matter where he goes.

Because of Roja's anger and killing spree, the fire grew larger and larger until it attracted the attention of other recruits.

In yet another location inside the forest.

X Drake was engaged in combat with a level 5 monster; Drake's clothing were slightly ripped in a few places, and the creature was covered in scars throughout.

"Take this!!" says the speaker.

Drake's eyes blazed with ferocity as he brandished his weapons in the next instant.

Bang

Drake flew away after the clash, but his weapons left another scar on the monster's body as a result of their impact.

Drake had a little difficulty beheading a level 5 creature because of the difficulty of the task. After taking a deep breath, he walked over to the lifeless body and spoke.

"I was able to defeat this Level 5 monster without resorting to it. It seems that I am not having any difficulties with this assessment."

Drake bowed his head, indicating that he was prepared to resume his quest.

Instantaneously, the expression on his face changed, and he turned to face the opposite way.

On the right, you can see how the forest in that direction seems to be becoming red with time.

"Does this smell like... fire?"

Drake's eyes were wide open, as if he were surprised.

Drake's face progressively grew unsightly as he realised that a huge section of the woodland was on fire and that there was no indication that it was being controlled by anybody. Initially, it seemed like the whole forest would be consumed by the flames.

"This is a massive fire. I believe that this is not only difficult to resist, but has also possibly had an impact on the evaluation... What caused this massive forest to suddenly catch fire?"
