Chapter 2

" Hi, i'm Angelica Preston and this is my bestfriend Aliyah. Nice to meet you!" She said in a jolly tone. She also requesting for handshake but he just stared at her hands and look away again.

"NIKIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" A loud voice entered our ears that almost broke my eardrums. Everyone's looking at the guy who just screamed. Who the hell is this guy! The teacher's have meeting so our next class is after lunch so that's why everybody's doing their business today.

"For fucking sake, can you please lower down your voice and stop calling me Niki!" He said while glaring at the boy who screamed.

"I'm just excited to see you here. How's uncle and aunt--?" He said but stopped because of the killer glare of him.

"By the way, who are these gals?" This guy asked this demon lord.

"You're annoying, can you get out of my sight?" Nikolas said and put his pods on his ears and browse some music on his phone.

"Hi, i'm Angelica and this is Aliah. Nice to meet you." Angelica greeted this guy in front of us.

"Hi, i'm Logan. Nice to meet the two of you. By the way, sorry for the attitude of this boy. You know, the heir of their company so he has this attitude issues. Please, bare with him." He said while plastering a big smile on his face.

This guy is a fan of smiling. Other than that, the look of this guy is pretty decent, from head to his shoes. I don't know but his aura speaks kindness while this little devil on my side speakes devilness.

"Oh that's okay, we can manage his attitude." Angelica said that made me glare to her. If she can manage his attitude, well, I can not handle this arrogant person.

" You know, I am a bit interested on Jaysean. Can you tell me something about him?" Angelica asked Logan shyly and that made him laugh.

"Oh no no, don't ever think about flirting him because the last girl that flirted him was seen crying and boom, exits herself in our former school." He said while pouting his lips. This guy's cute.

I can't take their commotion so I did my best not to listen to them and just read the book of our next class. Advance reading is always the right thing to do if you're not doing something.

It's our lunch break right at this moment so we are walking toward the cafeteria to buy so effin' good food to fill out my growling stomach.

" Hey, am I that famous?" Angelica asked me.

"Why are you asking?" I said and continued walking, not minding the people around me. I just don't care about them. I just want to study and get a degree so I can manage our business.

"Just look around. I think they are looking at us." I roamed my head to see what Angelica's saying.

I am shocked that it's true that they are looking at us but I noticed that they are not really looking at me but they are looking at the people behind the two of us.

I looked at the back and as expected, it was our transferee classmates that's going also in the cafeteria. I can almost see their eyes popping and hear their hearts thumpting loudly, joke!

Someone has taken the courage to stand in front of him and that is our schoolmate that is entitled as the 'school flirt' because he flirts almost of the guy here in our school.

"Hi, i'm Lalia. Wanna hangout later?" She offered her hands but he immediately shoved it away and glared at him.

"Move away, flirt. " He pushed him gently to the side and started walking again.

The crowds are starting to get noisy and some of them are laughing. The squads of Lalia is comforting her.

"Jerk." I said whisperedly. I don't want anyone to hear it but what i'm thinking is right. He's a big ass jerk!

"Nerd." I heard someone said it. I roamed my eyes to see who said it and not reallybthat surprise, It is Nikolas.

'Please be patient, please be patient'. That's all i'm praying for today and to my surprise, my patience level is higher that what I expected.

I just want to clarify things. I am a nerd in the way that I am only focusing on studying but i'm dressing myself up and i'm not wearing big and long clothes. It's not trendy at all.

"Let's go, Angel." I am used to calling her 'Angel' to make her long name short and besides, she does looks like angel with evil deeds.

"Okay, I am now hungry. We need to order a big amount of food to shove into this hungry stomach." She said as she holds her stomach.

The aroma of foods entered my nose. The savory smells are pushing me inside the cafeteria.

I ordered pork stew with rice and vegetable salad. I need food to feed my brain. My mind's not working if i'm hungry.

We ate our food and went to the room to rest and to study our lessons for our next class because the teacher is one of a hella' terror teacher.

"Goodbye, class." Finally, our day is done here in our school. I am in a good mood because I have marked A+ in our quiz earlier.

This day's tough plus it is raining right now so some of the student's are still here in our classroom but I managed to call my driver and he said that he's on his way. I can't wait to lay down on my bed.

I am now at the waiting shed, waiting for my driver to come when I felt like there is some vibration on my pocket. It is my driver calling me.

"I'm sorry, ma'am but I cannot pick you up today. The car breaks have an issue. They are now fixing the car, do you want to wait for us or no?" He just said that he can't pick me and he's still asking if I want to wait for him? Psycho.

"No, i'm good. I'm just going to ride taxi on my way home. Just fix the car." I said and turned off the call. So irritating.

I waited and waited for any taxi to come but there isn't any. I'm losing hope until a car stopped infront of me.

"You will not see any of the taxi even if you wait a thousand hour. Get in and I will send you to your home." To my surprise, it is Nikolas the great who said that.

My heart's thumping loudly.
