Chapter 3

James Potter woke up to the sound of his wife's and Amelia's hysterical laughter and Padfoot's agonised whining. Curious to see what had them in such good spirits James quickly finished his morning hygiene routine and went downstairs to a sight that he would never forget, that of Sirius transformed into Padfoot completely pink in color and dressed like a princess and being manhandled by Harry who kept slapping his snout muttering "bad doggy". Sirius couldn't even push away Harry who was smaller than him even in his animagus form as he was only five years old because James knew that Lily and Amelia would skin him alive if even a small scratch came to Harry. Overall it was the most hilarious scene James had ever seen.

" What happened here?" James asked.

Lily who took her time getting over her giggling fit responded saying, Sirius in all his wisdom decided to wake up Harry by licking him all over in his animagus form and you know how irritated Harry gets when someone disturbs his sleep and in a burst of accidental magic he trapped Sirius in his animagus form and transformed him to look like that and has been berating Sirius since then as you just saw. James was suddenly very proud of Harry for pranking Sirius so thoroughly and immediately scooped up Harry in his arms who immediately forgot about Sirius and squealed "daddy" while hugging him. James finally took pity on Sirius after taking a few pictures and reversed the transformation. The look on Sirius face was hilarious, he looked completely mortified and just kept giving Harry the stink eye and muttering about

evil genius overpowered godsons which led to another bout of laughter. Meanwhile Harry was playing with his sister and Amelia's twin daughters Artemis and Nebula. Everyone knew that those three had Harry wrapped around their fingers and were currently making play the role of a horse carrying them one at a time while they played the role of a princess. Harry had already completed his breakfast with Amelia feeding him.

After all of them had finished breakfast Lily took Harry to the nearby Muggle primary school which they had been attending for the past year as Lily wanted their children to know how to live like muggles and move about in the muggle world and not stick out like a sore thumb like most of the half blood and pure blood wizards, Harry was in fourth grade having skipped two grades as when his teacher noticed him being bored in class and saw that he had finished all his work well before anyone else she had talked with the principal and had Harry take a placement test and after seeing his performance on the test they promoted him to fourth grade. Harry was so advanced for his age as he loved to read and had an incredible memory and he had started learning to read and write in English at the age of three by pestering Lily as she stayed at home working on her potions as she was a Potions mistress while he was an Auror along with Sirius and Amelia who was currently on leave to take care of her children. Everyone was delighted at Harry's intelligence and Lily kept boasting that Harry obviously took after her in the intelligence department.
