Chapter four

I made my way out of the apartment to the bar. First I could hardly walk, it has been long since I wore high heels. Then later I adjusted, I couldn't walk faster because of  the long dress, Joslyn had made me wear.

Not to mention what she had done to my head. My hair was now curly, it looked great. She had used a lot of oils and sprays for it to get there. I had paid for that price already. I have a reason why I don't get my hair done and always wear a wig.

The whole process is a nightmare. From all the chemicals they add, to the hair dryers, I can't stand it. I remember when I quit going to the saloon. I spent the whole week in pain, I could not even sleep. If that what beauty meant then, not me.

I walked into the club. Although, I was still in pain, I'm glad Joslyn had to do something with my hair. Now Nicholas was not going to resist me.

I walked into the bar and Nicholas was no way to be seen. It was half full, maybe he was still on the way. I took out my phone to call him and I realized that we didn't exchange numbers. How could I forget to take his number. What was I going to do if he did not show up.

I kept walking, trying to find an empty seat. Then I looked at the stage, I saw someone with a familiar face. It was Nicholas. He was dancing with the band that was performing that night.

Everyone was cheering at them. I had never seen that other side of him. Nicholas was this naughty,  I never thought of it. I walked towards the stage so I could be able to observe him dancing.

He was like a male stripper. He kept performing this sexy dance that the male strippers usually do. Well his was a little different I'm not sure if it was a little innocent or naughtier. Everyone who was up on the stage was dancing, their dances were similar.

Maybe we were meant to be. As he was dancing, I noticed that  I was also moving but how? I don't know maybe is was caught in the music but I'm sure someone was doing it for me. I kept dancing too while I was watching him. I liked the way he swayed his hips, side to side. I wished I could go up to the stage and dancing with him, with my hands on those hips.

Suddenly guys on the stage started pairing up with girls and dancing together. I felt jealous, but wait there was no girl to pair up with Nicholas. Yay! They had run out of girls as. I made my way up to the stage some guy appeared from no way and paired with Nicholas.

No way! I was so angry that I wished I could run to the stage and beat up the poor guy. The way they danced, gave me shivers, which ran to my spine. They looked like they were in love, they looked like a real couple. Wait, what did that mean? No it was my jealous mind which was thinking about things that were not possible. But you should have seen that for yourself, I  had a lot of question in my mind that I could not answer.

After a few minutes the performance was over. Nicholas got off the stage as everyone cheered at him. They were happy for him, he had entertained a lot of people. The band sang another song, but he did not go on the stage this time.

My heart skipped a bit when he looked at me. Oh God he finally saw me. Did he think I was not coming, here I am I came. He walked to me, I could see his eyes scanning all over me.  Yes stare at me, I know I look beautiful today. Wait what if he didn't recognize me? Maybe I should tell him, its me Hilda.

"Hi, you came. I thought you where no longer coming," He said.

"Hello Nick, I'm sorry." I apologized.

"No its okay, you don't have to. I mean, it is clear why showed up late." He said, it sounded like a compliment. "Did you do a make over?" He asked.

"No, I just styled my hair that's all." I replied, trying as much as I could not to blush.

"Oh I see, you look different. What is the special occasion? Or dressed for the ladies' Night. Speaking of that, lets go get our free drinks." He spoke, he looked so free, yet I was nervous. How did he do it.
