Chapter Sixteen

Chapter 16

Finally the weekend was over. I went back to the city. I had enjoyed the weekend with my family, finally they had accepted me for who I was. Mother didn't want me to leave. She wanted me to quit my job but I couldn't not I had business to do in the city.

I went back to the saloon with Jolene. It was a Monday morning and I was still on my weekend leave. She had to renew my style, I was busy at home with family, I didn't have time to take care of my hair.

"So tell, how was everything at home." She lit the spark the was missing in our awkward silence and started the conversation.

"Well as you can see. It's good to have my family back. I have been accepted once again." I boasted.

"Hmm I see you happy boy. Now come over hear let's do your hair." She said inviting me to sit in front of her.

"You know I had the best time ever. Family is the best. Jolene why don't we go out. I will invite my crush, Hilda." I laughed.

"You got to tell her. Yeah and that's how I am going to, you are coming along. My leave ends tomorrow so I have one more day for partying. I don't have to worry about work anymore. Wednesday I will be ready, I'm compasating for the weekend._ I told her.

"Oh okay. Now sit up straight up straight. I will have to do this fast before my clients start coming. Remember to day is Monday." She said.

"Omo, what are you saying, am I not your client? Jolene?!" I cried.

"That is not what I'm saying darling you know are my favorite client." She assured me.

"You know what that means right?" I asked her.

"No..." She said trying to guess the next favor I'm going to get next.

"That means I'm going to do my hair for free next time. It's a deal." I said and Jolene's mouth remained open, still shocked.

After doing my day I spent the whole day at the saloon watching people come and go with different hair styles. I had a good time in the saloon with people coming to Jolene with different types of gossips. I heard a lot about people that day.

"Come on let's go to my place and freshen up." She said. "Have you called Hilda?" She asked

"Yeah she said she is coming." I replied. "Today I want to celebrate my freedom." I said.

At the dolphins club, Hilda was late. Jolene and I had ordered cocktails. Talking about Andreas.

"You know there is this guy I fell in love with overnight." I mentioned him.

"Wait the one night stand one?" Jolene asked.

"Yeah it's it him. It's no longer one night stand, we met sometimes. His name is Andreas. Honestly I don't know what do the guy has a girl friend. I can't smiling and lying to the poor girl yet I do nasty stuff with her boyfriend at night."

"Oh don't be sorry... You are not the one who made him bisexual are you?" She comforted.

"I bet not." I answered.

"So are you ready to be his side chick/guy?" She asked.

"If she is a girlfriend I'm also a girlfriend as well, they not married yet for me become a mistress. Who knows maybe I will be the one to marry him."

"You are really determined to be with him, aren't you?" She asked.

"Come on Jolene you, that doesn't matter, you said I should go for him, didn't you?" I defended myself.

"And where is your girlfriend?"Jolene asked. "You will see how she will be dressed tonight."

"Oh yeah to impress her crush, poor girl. I think she is older than me." I said.
