It was a Big day for Alex as it was is 16th birthday and since the development of a game called Survival is Key, and the government of each country finding a way to get infinite money(Without the knowledge to the Public)each of them started holding a touranamentment VR where everyone in the age group of 16 to 19 in the world would compete in to earn a cash prize of 1 billion dollars, Alex was happy because it was a chance for him to change his life around after being frequently bullied at school his father leaving him on at the age of 2 and to make it even worse after his father and his mother broke up is mother started drinking and coming in heavily drunk at night and constantly beating and demaitnding things for him.
But it seemed that it was a bad day for Alex to join as someone had caught on the governments plans and wanted to take control but in the process ended up causing a massive disaster!

Survival is Key

Alex appeared in a small open clearing that was surrounded by trees.


Alex: "Looks like I am in a forest if I can find a pond that would be great from what I heard your feelings are connected to your in the real world so if I'm hungry in the game I'm hungry in real life and if I get too hungry I might die, though there have been no of someone dying from hunger you never know."


After getting up Alex tried to figure out the basics of his system.


Alex: "Open menu."A screen then suddenly appeared in front of him.


                      Species: Vr Human


Inventory: )Bottle of water 6, Lunch box 


Alex: "Hm it seems easy to use so far, my stats aren't that bad there is a setting option but I don't want to change something and then I can't do certain things and I have some food supply in my inventory, I wonder how you access it". Alex clicked on the Inventory icon and then 50 item slots appeared on the screen with the items.


Alex: "Oh so that's how you use it." The bushes suddenly started rustling.


Alex quickly closed the menu and quickly turned around. Who's there Alex shouted looking at the bush where the noise came from there was no response as the thing kept coming closer. Alex took up a nearby rock and took aim at the bush, the rustling became louder as the thing came closer, a small dark orange pig with a bright red tail came out of the bush. Alex, who was frightened, threw the rock at the pig. The pig then became scared and ran away.


Alex: "Sigh, it was just a weird colored pig." Rumble! Rumble!. What was that Alex said, the ground then suddenly started shaking.


Alex: "That must have been what the pig was running from." The ground started to shake more violently and Alex started to run, he started to run faster as he heard the steps getting faster, as he started to get tired after running for a few and hearing the thing getting closer he hid behind a nearby tree the thing stopped and started to sniff around.


Monster: I know you're here human show yourself. 


Alex started shaking but he didn't dare to move. Just show yourself and spare me the trouble of having to destroy everything to find you and I assure you that it won't be a pleasant experience, but still, Alex didn't move.


Monster: Hm maybe my old nose is starting to fail me or maybe it is one of those beasts that disguise themselves with the scent of a human. The beast then started walking away, Alex didn't move as he was afraid that the monster was just waiting for him as he appeared to be intelligent, after a few minutes he walked out from behind the tree and started running as it appeared that the beast was angry at humans for some reason.


Alex: I don't know why he's angry at humans but I sure don't want to find out. He continued running until. Bonk! Hey, watch it! A girl that Alex bumped into said.


Alex: Sorry about that there was a beast that was chasing me.


Girl: Did I ask? Rude Alex thought, he got up and stretched out his hand. My name's Alex, the girl slapped away his hand and got up and brushed off her clothes. I don't want to be friends with a weakling like you. She has barely met me. What is she talking about?


Then heard rustling in the bushes that the girl came from
