-Female ???- It's so dark in here, weakness truly does bother me at a deep level.

-Male ???- At least give it a chance, it might have some sort of special abilities. Like what if hes one of those Dragon mancers?

-Female ???- Oh please you think i wouldn't notice if it really was one of those things? Besides its resolve is slowly shriveling away anyway, i think its best we just let it do its own thing for now.

-Male ???- Still, it truly is peculiar. A creature with no Maga in its core, do you think its caused by some sort of curse?

-Female ???- We're running out of time, its waking.

-Male ???- Tch.

Shidai wakes up, recalling a faded dream in which two voices were talking. Exiting the Inn, he spots a Traveling Merchant leaving the town.

-Shidai- Hey, sorry to bother you, what do you have for sale?

-Merchant- Oh you've caught me at a bad time right now, after selling most of my products in the town square im barely left with anything to sell.

-Shidai- I spotted that yellow glowing rock and i thought it was interesting so i came to take a closer look. How much are you selling it for?

-Merchant- Sorry but i can't sell it to you, simply because i dont know its worth. I mean its just a rock right?

*Shidai, in his mind, recalls a connection to the stone*

-Shidai- I would love to carve a necklace out of it, can you please give me a price?

-Merchant- Ah.. 25 Erta..?

-Shidai- That's quite a lot of Erta for a stone..

*Shidai pays the merchant 25 Erta for the glowing rock*

-Merchant- There you go, and if you're really that interested in rocks like these you should check out the mining district in Tumerupa Canyon just north from here, east of the town hall you'll find a hut with a tall indigo-skinned dragonfolk with a Darksteel Greatsword on his back, talk to him and tell him Ioku sent you.

-Shidai- Thank you for the info, i was planning on going north anyway.

-Ioku- Safe travels.

-Shidai- You too.

Shidai touches the glowing rock with his fingertip, making it glow a brighter yellow as his finger touches the stone. He puts it in his pocket and goes to a food stand to get something to eat.

-???- Hey!

-Shidai- !!

Shidai notices a small glowing pixie flying around him and his pocket. He realizes its after the stone.

He takes it out and holds it out towards the pixie.

-Shidai- Is this what you're after?

-???- I knew it! I could smell it from a mile away! You're one of those weird monk guys!

-Shidai- ... How can you talk?

-???- Dont worry about that, just remember my name and ill help you find what you're looking for.

-Shidai- How do you know me?

-???- My name is Aikosain Jem Okasen, but you can just call me Aioko.
