Isn't that Lisa, what is she doing here ?" He asked himself.
She looked upset, and Canary's heart went out to her.
He walked over to her table and sat down beside her.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, putting a hand on her arm.
Lisa looked up at him, her eyes red from crying. "You brought that woman back to our room," she said, her voice trembling.
Canary sighed and rubbed his temples. " What are you talking about ?" Canary didn't understand it
Lisa shook her head, her eyes welling up with tears again. "I don't want to hear it," she said. "Just leave me alone."
Canary nodded and stood up, but he didn't leave. Instead, he sat back down beside her and put his arm around her shoulders. "I'm not going anywhere," he said. "I'm here for you, Lisa."
Lisa pulled away from him, her eyes flashing with anger. "You're always saying that, but you never follow through," she said. "You're always off doing your own thing, and I'm just left to deal with the consequences."
Canary sighed and rubbed his temples again.
"Lisa, I'm sorry," he said. "I know I haven't been the best friend to you, but I want to change that. I want to be there for you, to support you and help you through tough times."
Lisa looked at him skeptically, but Canary could see a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
