Learning to survive or...

Bados understood that the past event was over, and now it was time to address his actions. He looked at his uncle, and for the first time, he could see why the others were terrified of him. He nodded before replying," Ok, Uncle Tan."

"What you have done isn't a big deal for now, but it will be in time. As time passes, that thing will grow strong fast and start pressing against the framework of the universe. There is a solution, but it will depend on the mortal's actions."

"What do you mean by pushing against the framework? That should be impossible."

"Remember, nephew, experience or proper information. This has happened twice before; it almost destroyed the universe. But it will be different this time since this mortal is way more powerful than those two. The other two merely had their souls formed by the purified souls of their species. What you've created is an amalgamation of the unpurified souls of all different species, which will make it extremely strong, but will cause something that only my generation has experienced. And this time it won't be something only for your creation." Tetanus spoke as he paced around Bados with his arms folded behind his back.

"I named him, Rapt, uncle," Bados interjected, earning a stern glance from his uncle.

"This Rapt will bring forth the Universal Tribulations. Something only your grandfather has triggered and survived. This will make him, you, and your siblings a target of the others who are affected by the fallout. So, please choose carefully, nephew, either kill this Rapt or guide him. I have lived through many unforeseen events, yet never has one stumped me as this. I see every bit of your father and grandfather in you, nephew. May you stay true to your path, whatever that might be."

When he looked at his uncle, Bados noticed a reminiscent look on his face as he seemed to be reflecting on the many events of his extremely long life.

"You may see my father and grandfather in me, but I have my own path to follow. But I understand, Uncle Tan." Bados said, taking the rambling of his wise uncle to heart.

Turning to leave, Bados hesitated before asking," Uncle Tan, why did you and Auntie Omi choose to stay and not leave with the others?"

"Sigh... For atonement." Tetanus said with a deep sadness and regret on his face.

Seeing the pain the question caused his uncle, Bados, regretted asking and decided not to press forward. Leaving, he made his way back to his realm in deep thought as various thoughts flashed through his mind. But what remained at the forefront was,' atonement for what?'

While Bados was returning to his realm, the other two nature gods had arrived in his throne room. Immediately after noticing their arrival, Alave greeted them.

"Greetings, Lady Cherish and Lady Teka. I must inform you that my lord is not here at the moment." Alave said with a slight bow.

"Hi, little Alave, must you be so formal?" Teka asked

"Yes, my lady. I shall not bring dishonor to my lord."

"Very well," Teka said with a pout on her face, but humor in her eyes.

"Teka bother Alave later, we're here to address Bados' actions. So, show us the cause of this trouble while we wait." Cherish said with a stoic expression.

Alave nodded and proceeded to show the way. Taking a leisurely walk to the sub-space that contained Rapt, the two Goddesses began to ask Alave questions about the creature that started this mess.

"What type of animal is it, Alave?" Teka asked

"It is velociraptor, a Reptile of the Dinosaur distinction, My Lady."

"Hmmmm, why did he do it?" Asked Cherish, trying to understand his reasoning.

"Apparently, he was monitoring planets that were going through the cataclysmic shifts of the history of the planet and found the last born of the planet," Alave responded.

"That sounds like him, Cher-Cher." Teka said as she skipped alongside Alave and Cherish with her hand clasped behind her back. "Let's just check out this little troublemaker.

Continuing on their way, they arrived in front of the subspace that he had been living in since his revival. Looking inside, what they saw was space, except for a piece of land the size of a continent with a strange sun floating around it. Covering the landmass was a dome of runes that dictated the functions that supported life, such as gravity, oxygen, plants, and more. But what caught their eye the most was the amount of mana that had permeated throughout the land.

" Now, which of these beasts is the troublemaker?" Asked Teka as she scanned through the many reptiles that were roaming the continent.

"It would be the one in what's called the dead lands by the younger disciples," Alave said in response, while pointing to an area that had seen better days. The only thing that was left standing was a singular cave surrounded by upturned trees showing signs of much damage. Some were burnt, others were cut down by something extremely sharp, and more. Yet what stood out the most was what the cave contained. Inside was a peacefully sleeping raptor that without the damage surrounding the cave would seem to have

Rapt asked Bados, "why did only two stats get an increase, but the rest stayed the same?"

Bados explained, "Each stat has a threshold that must be reached before it is pushed into the next level. You have increased your stat level and that has a minor effect on your total experience gain."

"So how do I know what the threshold is and is there a limit?" Rapt asked.

"The threshold is based on the natural limits of your body and how far you push beyond them. When I forced your mind to learn the beast language, it forced your mind pass the natural limits causing growth in your stats. Even though it seems like a small amount of growth compared to others your age. you are smarter and more resistance mentally. As for a limit there's a cap before you can evolve into a stronger, more powerful being based on your stats, your element, and your fighting style."

"How does this evolution work?" asked Rapt.

Bados responded with " You have to reach different levels to push your body to evolve. This is solely based on your level and doesn't require certain stats to evolve. But you can hold off on pushing to evolve, if you want to reach your peak before evolving. This method will affect your choices when it comes to obtaining stronger and better evolutions. Now get some rest."

Before Rapt could ask another question Bados had walked away, leaving him to eat the scorpion that he had killed. Rapt laid down and started to think about what Bados had to said. Looking at his stats, he had no understanding where he would compare to other beasts like him. He then started thinking about what Bados said about the element being able to affect his evolution. This made him think about how he had changed after Bados flooded his mind with the entire beast language including the meaning of the words. The change that occurred when his intelligence stat hit 1 was very important, too. His mind was full of unanswered questions and random thoughts fueled by the beast language. His new thought compacity had boosted his natural curiosity. He was going through the phase similar to little children after learning how to talk.

Those changes and the fight that occurred earlier lead to Rapt dozing off for an hour before he woke up. This time with his increased intelligence Rapt would short work of the scorpions and dragonflies as he continued to explore the forest. Bados would watch each fight as he watched Rapt progress slowly. His physical resistance would increase slightly as he got hit sometimes. His speed, agility, and stamina increased as well. Helping him become a more powerful predator.

Physical Resistance: 0.7 (0/5)

Speed: 0.8 (0/5)

Agility: 0.8 (0/5)

Stamina: 0.7 (0/5)

With Rapt's enhanced growth rate, those bugs soon became inefficient for producing growth in Rapt. Leading to a first as Rapt left the forest to seek out help from Bados. He saw that the Forest he was currently living was massive as he walked up to the top of a strange hill. He noticed that he hadn't explored much of it. He continued walking around and he saw different areas as he explores the domain. He saw different beast on the walls that were unlike anything he had ever seen.

"Those are beasts that went on to become planetary gods", Bados as he appeared near Rapt.

When Rapt heard Bados he asked," I'm not improving anymore. What can do I here to increase my strength?"

"I will create a pseudo-world exactly like Ambu that will change terrains everyday along with the beasts and other creatures. You'll have to face them and survive against by any means necessary. Starting tomorrow you will start your trials and I won't help you or watch your progress for the next six months."

"This is why Cherish and I think that you are a fool little brother" a voice echoed through the god's domain.

Bados shouted back," Teka show yourself and we'll see who's a fool sister."

Rapt was confused by what was happening around him as a disembodied voice of one called 'Teka' and Bados spoke to each other. Finally, another being appeared in front of Bados and smacked him on the head before saying,

"You're as impulsive as ever Bados. You haven't even stopped to think about anything except how to teach this young one as quick as possible before throwing him to a planet. This is why Cherish insists on you being monitored when it comes to the care of your blessed ones. You often forget that your Blessed represent you as a god and that your representation is a part of ours"

Rapt looked at the two Beings and noticed that they looked nothing alike with the one called Teka being shorter, slim and darker compared to Bados who was a little lighter, almost twice as tall, and wider. They did share the same body type. it was one that was different from his. They stood upright bodies with tiny arms.

Teka seeing the confused look of Rapt said," Gods are considered sibling, when they belong to the same trinity of forces like us. We are the gods of nature. Bados here was the last one of us to become a god even though he's the oldest of us. hahaha so he's our baby brother."

"Why are you still here?" shouted Bados," He would've been just fine."

"Sure, just like the others that you have unleased onto our worlds that caused the other gods to claim that we are trying to start a war." Another voiced came from out of nowhere.

"Ugh, Cherish is here, too." said Bados

While Teka screamed in joy," Cher-Cher!!."

"You know that we all must come together and deliberate, when it comes to the Blessed ones. Not only because of you Bados, but because of Teka too."

"Yes, she does make her Blessed Tree's poisonous beyond reason"

"Cher-Cher, your blessed Nature Fairies are simply tyrannical about your protected lands."

They continued to argue about who's Blessed ones are the most problematic. This leaves Rapt looking at the three arguing with each other until he can no longer keep up. He decided to walk back to his forest home to lay down. By the time, the trio has finished arguing and turn to focus on Rapt. Only to see that he wasn't there.
