The cat released a long sigh and tapped Ernesto's chest. The pain disappeared and his arms and legs were back to normal in just the blink of an eye, like nothing had happened.
"Sorry, I shouldn't pick a fight with you." The cat surprisingly apologized, and Sir Enteng froze when he heard it. [What's going on? Why is a god apologizing to a human child?]
Ernesto just lay there, remembering why they were fighting in the first place, as he watched the cat sincerely apologize while standing on his chest.
Minor deity Puti knows Ernesto's struggles because he usually joins with the goddess Iyyah in watching over the child. And he literally knows why the child is frustrated, but he can not entirely sympathize. The cat jumped over the shoulder of the bulky guy and signaled him to walk forward. "Get up there, I'll tour you around."
Ernesto stares at the sky for a moment, then shakes his head.
