Chapter 14

Wonho's POV

I had made some soup for Hyungwon and I was helping him eat since he was still weak. His color has back fully but he's still not in the right condition to start taking care of himself again. Hyungwon looked at me after he finished eating.

Hyungwon: I'm sorry.

Wonho: For what?

Hyungwon: Not telling you about me still being stressed.

Wonho: Hyungwon, you know that you can tell me anything. I'm here for you and I'm never leaving. I promise. You don't have to keep secrets.

Hyungwon smiled at me. I knew he wanted to tell me everything. So I got comfortable and layed next to him. He cuddled next to me and put his head on my chest.

Wonho: Go ahead and tell me everything. I won't judge you. I want to help you and not cause you any stress.

Hyungwon started talking after I finished speaking. He explained that he was scared about his biological father finding him and that he was also scared that people would judge him if he got pregnant. He even explained that he was negative towards how he looks and what people think of him. He said that he had a voice in his head telling him that he wasn't good enough. And that sometimes he believes it. Hyungwon was so scared of everything that he was becoming more and more delicate and precious. I'm glad that he is telling me everything. Once he got done talking, he seemed to be feeling better since he got that off his chest.

Wonho: Feeling better now that you told me?

Hyungwon: Yes. But I am still hungry.

I snickered at his comment.

Wonho: Okay let me go get you some more food.

Hyungwon: Can you take me with you?

Wonho: Yes I can.

I smiled at him and went over and picked him up. I took him out and set him at the dining room table. I started making one of his favorite dishes that he never stops asking me for. Sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew). Hyungwon always asks for this. Once I got done making it, I set a bowl down in front of him and saw his face light up when he saw it. Hyungwon looked at me and smiled. I smiled back knowing that he is going to be okay. I'm just glad that he's feeling a little bit better.
