Calm Down

Andreas chuckled and shook his head for the umpteenth time as he looked at Renessa who seemed to be enjoying the view outside with a faint smile on her face.

"Aren't you tired of clucking like that and shaking your head? You're not a lizard, you can talk in human language, right?" Renessa grumbled in a low voice.

"Would you understand if I used human language? I was clearly talking to you, but you acted like you didn't understand what I was saying," Andreas said, still glaring at Renessa.

Renessa pressed her lips together in a thin line. She had panicked earlier and hadn't listened to what the man beside her was saying. It was her fault for being so arbitrary, but she wasn't thinking rationally at all. All he could think about was hiding from Mary. Now that they were all alone, she was embarrassed and did not dare to look at the man that sat less than a meter from her.
