Now it really just wouldn't be a safe getaway when she was running from the royal palace now is it? Because there were so many people in the ballroom and walking around to sightsee, guards were just about everywhere. Guards were supposed to be the best of the best, in light metal armor that was supposed to block against any magical attack that came their way. Along with that, they had a sword, just a normal claymore sword with the king's insigma on the hilt.
Landing on the ground without a sound, she pulled up the bottom of her dress to keep it from getting dirty. Quickly standing in the shadows of a pillar, she watched two guards walk by before poking her head out from the pillar. She had maybe ten minutes before the Prince would get up and finally be able to speak, but if someone found him sooner then she would need to move faster. Walking out from the shadow, she glanced at Iesurdrar on her shoulder.
'What do I do? You think we can get out without being noticed?' she asked him through their mind-link, looking around nervously before walking through what seemed to be like a small garden. It was filled with all different kinds of flowers and in the center, a beautiful fountain. But there was no time for looking, right now the mission was trying to get out of this place. It was almost like a maze, walking through the different bushes and trees, all in full bloom. No doubt the work of someone with a blooming type partner. Sighing after she realized she wasn't being followed, she let go of the dress. Letting it fall back down to her ankles, she looked around slowly, she could jump over the wall, that would be the easiest thing to do.
"What are you doing out here all alone?" A voice said behind her. Turning on her heel, she looked back at the person who called out to her. It was a man, almost the same height as her. He was wearing a dark green suit with a white undershirt and a green tie. His mask was a lighter shade of green almost covering his whole face. Standing next to him was a beast that looked like a lion, it's mane was made of large branches and leaves of what looked like a plum tree, it's fur was also green. A matching pair.
"Well, getting air, a lot of people make me want to not be here. Plus, I think I've had enough of the ball for now." She smiled, fully ready to tase the person standing in front of her now. He stared at her for a couple seconds before smiling back.
"You were that girl dancing with the Prince earlier? I couldn't forget someone like you." He had admiration in his voice.
"Oh, so you saw what happened then. You're not here to kill me too, right?" She asked him, getting into a slightly defensive stance. Iesurdrar on her shoulder tapped his feet quickly, he wanted to get out of here, and with only this man here, they could leap over the wall and be gone. No one would believe that a lady- with a mockingjay- could leap over a ten foot brick and stone wall.
"No no. I thought that was great. Really, no one has the guts to do that to the royalty anymore. They won't kill you, maybe shame you in front of everyone, but nothing as serious as kill." The man spoke like he knew what he was talking about, but there seemed to be something in mind as well when she overheard the conversation. It seemed like there was a different reason she was being hunted down.
"Well, thanks. But I really have to go, so please enjoy yourself and don't let me bother your night. If anything, speak more highly of me to piss others off. I love the look of angry rich people." She gave him a smile- with more venom in it even a snake would have and winked at him. Quickly turning away from him, she took her shoes off and started running.
He watched her run, giving a confused look before watching her run off. Looking towards the lion, they both turned back to the Palace.
Picking up more speed, she ran and jumped- pushing the ground as hard as she could to clear the wall. She jumped over it with ease, landing on the other side with as little sound as possible. Sadly she landed right in front of two guards watching over the area. Before they could even call for help, her eyes glowed white as she reached out to grab them. Even before her hand could touch them, electricity jumped from her fingers to the metal. Looking at her hands, she looked back at the metal- the guards were already on the ground, shaking and not understanding what happened. Tilting her head, she did it again, tazing the poor guy more before frowning. She's never seen that before. Maybe because she never tried to use her power on someone wearing metal, or metal at all. Shaking her head, she started running again, running towards the inn she stayed at before.
