A she, actually

Laying on the ground- looking like he was having a seizure, since what happens is that the muscle nerves are overrun and start constricting and relaxing quickly- someone finally found him there with his binding-partner laying next to him, also looking the same way. Thank god none of them really did have to go to the bathroom. After some guards had brought him inside, he had some water to calm himself down and try to relax his still shaky muscles. His father, who was informed of this immediately, was very obviously furious, pacing back and forth in front of his son. He might make a permanent mark on the carpet if he kept pacing that much.

"Who did this? How could someone have this power? How could he slip away without us knowing?" The King fumed, the Beardorn sat straight like a dog on high alert, he could feel his partner was not happy, and with good reason.

"It was a she, actually. She was wearing a light grey dress and light blue mask. With the brightest blue eyes' I've ever seen. She had a small Mockingjay on her shoulder." The Crowned Prince spoke softly, trying not to let his voice crack at all. The King froze in spot- turning to stare straight into his son's eyes, confusion and anger flowing behind them.

Before the King could explain, a messenger boy came running into the room, a look of fear and worry on his face. He knelt on the floor to show respect before standing and delivering this message. "Your Majesty, outside of the wall from the garden, we found two guards laying on the ground doing what the Prince was. When we tried to help them, they shocked everyone that got near them. We had to leave them there until it passed." The messenger bowed his head and stood off to the side. He didn't want to be shown because he delivered the message.

The King's look darkened for a second before returning to normal, but Jameson on the other hand was curious. How could someone jump over that wall? Even though he had a tough time, he was powerful.

Then James started speaking like the messenger never even appeared. "A… she? Was her name by chance Cattaleya?" The king spoke slowly and deliberately. Even the Beardorn shifted in it's sitting, something wasn't right there. Jameson, on the other hand, was more confused than ever. How did his father know her name? Maybe she was more important than she looked? No, that wouldn't make any sense.

"How did you know? Is she special or something?" He voiced his questions. Arilin was able to walk normally now, sitting up and trying to shake it away. That was a very uncomfortable feeling.

The King only stood there, turning his face away, trying to hide his own worry. This was a threat on his life, everything that he worked towards and for. "Get some rest son, I want you to be healthy and back into shape to fight. We're going to get this girl for doing this." He grumbled, pulling one of his hands into a fist.

Jameson could only nod his head and go to his own room, where he just laid down and fell asleep. Arilin wasn't far behind him and went to sleep on his own bed. For some reason, he felt happy to see the girl again, or was it more curiosity? He didn't know for sure, but his heart was beating a little faster than usual before he fell asleep.

The King, James, on the other hand, was worried sick about this. How? How was this even possible? Frowning at himself, he signaled a messenger boy forward. "Tell the Captain I want the girl Cattaleya back here, in chains, but alive." He said calmly. He needed to make sure that this really was the threat he was warned about many years ago. Almost 22 to be exact.

"Yes sir." The messenger boy bowed his head to the King.

"Wait, one more thing," he said, motioning the boy back towards him, "Kill the person who was hiding her as well. Call it treason against the crown." He added without changing his tone. The messenger gulped, nodding his head and retreated back to relay the message to the Guard Captain.

Once the message was received, the guards wasted no time in getting ready- only taking horses and weapons. They would take three days to get there, and three days back. Since it was a direct order from the King, they left now, moving quickly through the night. As the Guards, they passed a carriage that was traveling to a far away village at slower speeds. Also while on their march out of the capital, some thought that a shadow of a bird flew overhead, but they were all tired and thought to have merely dreamt it.
