Chain's aren't heavy at all

It had been another day, the carriage with the people who had attended the party would be arriving sometime late into the night. Cattaleya felt a little bad that she ended her friend's party that was supposed to be a once in a life thing. But she couldn't linger on it long, she wanted to think of something else. She was standing in front of a dying tree, sighing softly. Iesurdrar stood in his regal true form, a giant beautiful, terrifying blue eagle. He rarely did this because other people, but they were alone, so he was fine with it.

Standing in front of the tree, and aimed her axe into the log, swinging her arm back and hitting it with as much force as she could. It was enough to scare the birds in nearby trees away. She huffed, hitting it almost half way through it, although the poor axe edge also took some damage, they weren't used to that much force behind them. She pushed her wavy black hair back, her dark green shirt and black pants black work boots. Instead of hitting the tree again, she just pushed it with all her might. Cracking and snapping was loud as the wood broke and the tree fell on the ground.

Putting the axe on her belt, she picked up the tree over her shoulder. It weighed more than what she should be able to carry, but her muscles rippled under her shirt, they weren't huge muscles but they were obviously there. Walking back towards the village, she heard a loud commotion going on. With her better hearing, she could hear a random hand on a horse screaming her name. Putting the tree down, she also set her axe down. Stepping towards the crowd, she could finally really understand what was going on.

"Cattaleya! We are looking for a woman named Cattaleya with a mockingjay. She is coming with us under suspicion of treason!" The head guard yelled, loud enough for the small village to hear. Tilting her head, she could see who his binding-partner was. Looking at the human sized sloth that stood on it's two back legs, she could see how scary looking.

"Tell us where she is and no one gets hurt!" He screamed again, in that same high-pitched voice that made her ears want to bleed. Taking steps towards him, she wasn't afraid, she wasn't afraid of anything.

"I'm here, how am I under treason?" She asked, giving him a sharp skeptical glance. The guard was taken aback, no one dared to talk to him like that, other than the Royals and Nobles. But a mere peasant? He wanted to take her back in chains now.

"That will be decided by the King once you meet him! Take her!" He looked towards three guards who got off their horse, holding what looked like some heavy chains. Raising her brow, she glanced at her mother in the crowd. Her mother was more nervous than her, her past was coming back to haunt her.

Cattaleya shrugged, nodding her head and holding her arms out to them. "If you insist. I mean, if you think that you can't keep up with me normally." She joked.

Everyone looked at her with shock. The guards had never seen, or taken someone this easily. Most of the other guards had their hand on the hilt of their swords in case she tried anything. But the three guards with chains put them on her wrist, neck and ankles, making it hard for her to really move to fight. They thought that the heavy chains would make her fall, but she stood her ground firmly.

"Well, if that's it, should we be heading out?" She asked, pointing back the way towards the castle. Iesurdrar just sat on her shoulder, they didn't see the small mockingjay as a threat. Looking out at her mother, she smiled at her, for some reason proud of this fact. Her mother, on the other hand, was very distraught and upset.

"Who is her parents'!?" At this, Cattaleya's mood took a full one-hundred-eighty degree turn. Her eyes glowed a dangerous white color before looking at her mother. The wind suddenly picked up more as the clouds started to get darker.

"I grew up by myself. None of these people raised me. You can tell because no reasonable person would let a woman wear pants and work." She said, quietly, but with enough venom even the people in the castle could hear if they were listening.

Everyone felt the mood change, how dark it got and how much more scary this girl was. The head guard shifted slightly on his horse while his sloth-like creature moved to sit in the basket on the horse. The guards stared at her for a few moments before nodding their heads and starting their move out. Someone clicked the chain that connected to her the back of one of their horses. They wanted to make her suffer, but they didn't know that they would be in worse condition.

As they started the walk back home, she watched the carriage go by, Ivana's face looking out at her. Cattaleya winked at her before walking. The dark clouds didn't lift, only got darker, and the wind got stronger. She was going to make this hell for the guards, even if they were only following orders.

After about two hours of walking, it was pouring down like the Heavens decided to open the oceans above. Everyone was miserable except Cattaleya, which was a surprise to them. She was supposed to be shivering, dying of tiredness and hunger, not enjoying herself and sightseeing. She also outpaced the horses at some points when everyone felt tired but her. Who was this girl?
