Grandfather

The magic carpet flew into a very wide room and stopped in front of a huge door. After the two of them walked down the magic carpet, the old butler stood in front of the door.

In a few seconds, a very weak mechanical sound came from the door. The door opened and Rollin came to a banquet hall.

Sitting at the center of the long table was a very kind-looking old man with snow-white hair. He sat there and stared at Rollin.

His eyes were full of love for Rollin. He even had the urge to stand up and approach Rollin, but he was quickly restrained.

The old butler bowed to the old man, turned around, and left the room, closing the door. With the old man's signal, Rollin sat on his right.

"I know you have a lot of questions, but now is not the time to tell you the entire truth. You only need to know that you are the Stoke family's grandson!"

"As your grandfather, I really want to help you, but due to my contract with your father, I can only help you in a small way!"

"This is also the reason why you were able to get a high reward when you were doing business with the Stoke family!"

The old man in front of him wanted to say something but stopped himself. He quietly stared at Rollin and sized him up. He realized that the grandson in front of him had already reached the star traveller level.

Due to his unstable emotions, a space attribute energy would leak out from his body from time to time.

After hearing his grandfather's words, Rollin's mind became even more chaotic!

Not to mention the disappearance of his lover Delia, now he suddenly discovered that he was was actually the grandson of one of the four great families of the Solar System.

Rollin could not help but suspect that Delia's disappearance really had a lot to do with him.

Looking at Rollin's conflicted expression, Stoke Twain told him about Delia. "I'm very sorry about your little girlfriend, because I wasn't able to find out who kidnapped her!"

"However, I used the last of my strength to help you predict something! Take out your cubic universe locator. I'll give you a coordinate!"

After listening, Rollin took out a long, strip-shaped locator. Taking the locator, Twain poured a lot of energy into it and threw the locator high into the air.

The cubic universe locator levitated in the air and turned into a three-dimensional image.

Twain entered a coordinate into the expanded locator. The two coordinates on the locator reflected each other.

"One of them is the place your father told you to go, and the other coordinate is the place with information about your little girlfriend!"

After listening to Twain's words, Rollin stared at the coordinates and recorded the cosmic coordinates in his mind.

Until now, Rollin had no way to activate the cubic cosmic locator. So, even if he obtained this information now, he could only use it when he reached the star level.

"Then! What state is Delia in now? If I'm late, will her life be in danger?!"

Twain stroked his white goatee with his hand. He did not intend to tell Rollin the whole truth.

He just said, "you still have about three years. If you can't reach the star level in three years, you'll never be able to get any news about Delia again!"

Both professionally and personally, Twain hoped that his grandson would become strong enough. Only then could he formally acknowledge Rollin.

If he were to publicly acknowledge him now, Rollin would face an endless crisis. All of Stoke's enemies would focus their fire on him.

After reaching the star level, Rollin would have a strong ability to protect himself. At his current age, he would sooner or later become the youngest star level powerhouse in the world.

Although he was already the strongest star traveller in the Solar System, there were too many powerhouses at this level. It was not very rare for someone to reach this level.

Looking at his grandfather in front of him, Rollin actually had many questions he wanted to ask, but he would definitely not get an answer.

So, Rollin asked about his mother. "Grandfather, can you tell me something about my mother?"

Hearing Rollin call him 'grandfather', Twain was so happy that tears flowed out of the corners of his eyes.

He turned his head and pretended to drink tea. After quietly wiping away the tears with his hand, he replied, "about your mother... When you become a star-level powerhouse and find the coordinates, you'll be able to get all the answers you want."

"Now, this is the only thing I can help you with!"

With that said, he took off a necklace made of a special silver material from his neck and handed it to Rollin.

"This is a photo of you and your mother when you were young!"

After taking the necklace, Rollin opened the lid on the necklace. A photo was clearly shown in front of his eyes. A young and beautiful woman was smiling kindly at the child in her arms. Her smile was extremely sweet.

After looking at this photo, a sealed memory in Rollin's brain quietly came back to life. The memory that disappeared in the past appeared in his brain like a replay of a movie.

Rollin's mother had been accompanying him since he was young. Until one day, a huge object appeared in the sky. It broke through the atmosphere and crashed on this land.

From that day on, his mother had been living a harsh life, escaping danger with him, but his father was missing.

At that time, Rollin was still a young boy, and it was impossible for him to stay awake for long periods of time, so many things were not recorded in his brain.

Through these fragments of memories, coupled with his current knowledge, he could vaguely guess what had happened at that time. It was probably the invaders from other star fields who wanted to occupy Earth.

However, they did not expect that the people on Earth were no longer primitive races! Very soon, this battle was won by the absolute strength of the human race. Furthermore, through this battle, the human race had achieved leaps and bounds in technological progress.

However, what did all of this have to do with the disappearance of his parents?

He was certain that the victory of the human race must be closely related to his parents.

All the clues had been cut off. The only thing that would allow him to advance was to advance to the star level within these three years. Only then would he be able to find clues about Delia and the reason why his parents had disappeared.

After thinking it through, Rollin stood up, bowed to his grandfather, and turned to leave. At the moment, Rollin did not have the leisure to sort out his family relations. For a moment, he was finding it difficult to accept the fact that he was part of the Stoke family.
